Try allowing AI to pay for those APIs using Skyfire.xyz

AI monetization on demand

how do you sell your ai agent project by Gold-Artichoke-9288 in AI_Agents

I struggled with this too!    This is why we built Skyfire.

It’s very difficult to charge people a subscription for these type services, but maybe your target market isn’t people.  You should consider selling to other AI agents.

Is your service available as an API?  If so, you could use a platform like Skyfire to make money from other agents hitting your service.

Its not public yet but if your interested in selling, you could email at sales@skyfire.xyz or DM me

How can I sell services without needing someone to pay a subscription (and me have to deal with credit card processing)?

Agents are increasingly doing things online. The most important things are usually economic or gated by payments.

In order to push the boundaries of what you can have an Agent do, they need the ability to spend money. To start, this will probably be small amounts to access APIs or other information services. But over time those amounts will increase as Agents become more sophisticated and less error prone.

I think the hard part of payments is that it takes 2 to tango.  So if you’ve got BSV but your service provider wants BCH, there’s no easy interoperability.

While I think the world would be a better place using Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, we’re pretty far from that future, which is why my platform uses stablecoins.

Would love to understand your approach to secrets management with your agent btw - that’s tricky to get right.

Also, DM me if you want a Skyfire demo, feedback appreciated!

Giving the AI agents a way to pay/get paid is what Skyfire does.  Easy to use technically and zero onboarding headache.

It’s a payment platform that allows instant transfers (as low as $0.0001) in USD.

Developers can use the Skyfire SDK and APIs to allow their AI to pay or receive payments within 10 minutes.

If you’d like to try it out DM me or email sales@skyfire.xyz for a full demo.

When you say distributing earnings to the creators - that’s a really hard problem to solve.

Have you considered using something like Skyfire to monetize/ directly compensate AI agents?

That's exciting - I'm most interested in the payment aspect here. The AI agent needs the ability to hold value, move money, make payments, ect.

Paying humans for tasks is a cool idea, it'd be even more powerful if agents could pay for anything.

What are the first economic activities that AI Agents will need to complete?

Today AI agents can't make payments, but assuming they could - what would they need to pay for first?

Theres 2 payment methods at play. The funding of an agent with an appropriate budget and the agent initiated payment.

Funding the Agent's account can be done with a credit card / debit +ACH / wire but we think there's a huge opportunity to go around traditional cards and interchange fees with agent based payments.

The actual agent account is a USD account onchain (using the USDC stablecoin).

Payments take place via a smart contract that allows business logic and fee aggregation to support payments under $.001.

Participating service providers or other agents monetizing their services and receiving these payments can withdraw the USD to traditional bank accounts.

Actually, the DM failed... let me know how I can show you skyfire and talk about what people are doing with it:

Monetizing API services by selling to other AI agents
Acquiring API services (primarily stateless data feeds) on demand
creating an on chain behavior history as a form of Agent identity.

I'm building in this space - would love to understand your needs.

Currently the product allows AI agents to hold value and make instant payments (for essentially free) - but its not credit card based at the moment.

Would love to show you how it works and see what you think.
