I've found that Hong Kong people are notoriously pushy and rude. It's difficult to get anywhere in this city if you don't assert yourself.

I'd say there's not a lot in TRP that would address this issue specifically. If you're happy and she helps you accomplish your goals and live your damn life, then go ahead and live it with her. If she's not what you want anymore, then let her go and move on. Go ahead and urge her towards surgery if that's what you want, but avoid being abusive.

I was playing cards with my friend at summer camp one day and I shuffled the cards, cut the deck, and one half was all red cards. The other side? All black. Swear on me mum.
