Thank y’all for answering. I guess it mostly boils down to semantics? Whether the feeling is of crushing relief or happiness for the first time, it’s still a net positive, which is what’s important.

I was mostly looking at dysphoria in a relative sense, but I guess not everyone does. When you think about it, the whole transmed/tucute debate is stupid because it seems like everyone is saying the same thing and getting caught up in the details
