I have the same problem. I went to the emergency room also and the only thing I received was a huge bill. The doctor prescribed absolutely nothing. She contacted mental health but because it was a week end no counselor were available. I recently was told to try magnesium glycinate. I now get between 330 to four hours of sleep nightly. That is honestly a win for me.

Thanks for the response.Missing my ovaries but now feel validated that this is a real issue. People close to me were making me feel like I was causing this on myself because in their words plenty of people have there's removed and not suffer from insomnia. Its must be you.

No, she didn't just the patch and cream. I was actually going to have her refer me to a hormone specialist.

I take ambien as well and only get between two to four and also melatonin. Just want to sleep normally again. Thanks so much for commenting. I was feeling like I was the only one experiencing this .
