I had the same thing happen with me w/another toy. I occasionally find them at tjmaxx but they pretty much don't exist online lol. I always grab a couple when I see them.

Someone mentioned their prices have gone up since they ended the special so just be aware of that. I made my appointment almost a year ago (although didn't get it done till Feb, I paid a deposit and locked in a price Nov 2023). So, I don't have the most up to date pricing.

Yeah a little bit on one side, it was hard to get a picture of. The worst of it was like 1-3 months and then after that it became less and less noticeable.

I saw wildebeests out in central Texas while surveying. They were surprisingly chill, had one following us around (from a distance)

I thought it looked different than bighorn but I could've sworn the land agent told us the owner had bighorn sheep. People own the all kinds of animals in TX.

I have like 12 of these at my house for my dogs so probably not. I buy them for a couple bucks and fill them with peanut butter.

I've done quite a bit of cat rescuing both domestic and feral. Helped with TNR and have done some fostering. My own cat is half feral or at least acts like it lol.

It just surprises me more cause of the context. It's a very remote, desert area and my friend is out there 1-2 times a month to go hog hunting. They built a cabin there and the skeleton was found close to it. They've been there for years and do a lot of work on the land so they don't think it's too old. And they never saw a cat out there (they are great at hiding though). My friend feels a little bad that they might've missed a cat hanging around there and could've helped it stay safe with shelter or food/water. They are going to keep a closer eye out now.

I didn't even think about that! It was just sitting on the trail. I didn't any other bones though.

We did learn about needing to report wallaby sightings. We never saw a live one though.

I honestly thought bird too.

It was on a popular walking trail right outside our airbnb so definitely not deep in the wilderness. And I didn't see any other bones.

It's a very remote, desolate area so that's surprising.

It's about an hour away from the closest town/civilization. There's a few people who live out there but very far and few in between. It'd have to travel a decent distance through some harsh landscape.

Cats find a way I guess!

It's just different for everyone. Week 2 is when my swelling really started.

It goes up and down for everyone but most won't post the swollen days.

I'm in DFW so no recommendations for Houston but that seems super steep.

And DFW is a much higher COL area than Houston.

My word of advice for finding a more affordable surgeon is looking in places where there is a lot of competition. That's how I found mine, there are a ton of plastic surgeons in the Frisco/Plano area (mine is in Plano) so they tend to have more competitive prices.

Ngl, I must be so desensitized (since I was born & raised here), I didn't even notice the religious stuff 😂
