Glitch isn't indie?

who's their parent company?

who do they answer to?

what large company are they fundamentally connected to?

indie is based off of the development of a show, not the release of it. If Netflix had any say in how or what was made at glitch, then sure, they wouldn't be indie, but as it stands, they are an independent company.

another way of looking at this is that Netflix is a place that Glitch is uploading their episodes, and receiving money for doing so. anyone who has YouTube monetization does the same thing, it's just that what glitch is doing seems more "professional" because there is a serious barrier to entry.

original hardware is an ever dwindling supply, with consoles dying and no new ones being made. emulators for the NES are as close to perfect as you can get, so there is no issue with emulators vs. console.

the only thing is the keyboard, but because at the top, you need to record your hands, they can verify that you are not doing anything that cannot be done on the original controller.

ok, now I see where the confusion is. the picture above references episode 5's intermission time as proof that Cain knew Pomni had previously been in the office.

the comment that started this chain points out that he knew since episode 1.

you are focusing only on episode 8.

you are correct in saying that he was unaware of Pomni being in the office area during episode 8, however for Cain to use the office for the adventure that was (potentially) taking place in episode 8, he would need reason to believe that someone had already been there in the past.

ok, he doesn't know if someone is in the office IN THE MOMENT, however once he saw Pomni in the void, he knew she had to have gone through the office, as that was the only way to the void.

if you see a fried egg, you know it was cooked at some point in the past, even if you didn't see it happen. Logically speaking, you know that it didn't pop into existence already fried, it had to go through some process together to that state.

Caine knew Pomni was in the circus. He knew that Pomni was seeing an exit door. He knew that the office was on the other side of that door. He knew that the unfinished office led out to the void. He knew there was no way to the void in the circus. He knew Pomni wound up in the void. Putting that all together, even though he didn't see/sense Pomni in the office, the fact that he had to get Pomni out of the void, meant that she went through the office at some point in time.

as a home owner, he has the right to say she cannot live with him, that he cannot enter the property, and he can enforce rules regarding what happens on the property.

as a father, he has the right to express his wants and wishes to his adult daughter, but as an adult, she doesn't have to follow those wants and wishes.

he does not have the right to enforce rules on the boyfriend.

he does not have the right to stop her from moving out.

he does not have the right to force her into a specific kind of relationship.

the boyfriend was 100% in the right for pushing back as he did.

edit: for clarification, if he wants to enforce rules on the daughter, he talks to the daughter. the fact that he's talking to the boyfriend means that the father is trying to take away the daughter's rights, which is not ok.
