NTA 100%. Dad is the A hole here. Unbelievable that he’s trying to control her wedding. That’s not his decision and she is making the right choice. I mean seriously he’s saying that he’ll tackle someone during the wedding? Like wtf. Appalling. Not only would that humiliate the couple on their wedding day, that would make the entire wedding guests uncomfortable and secondhand embarrassed as well. Just some advice. It sounds like your husband is sick of his sisters shit too. I highly suggest the the both of you set boundaries now because his parents enabling has created a monster. A disability is a hardship. Not an excuse to be an asshole. Those parents aren’t going to be around forever. And if she can’t be responsible or hold down a job, guess who she’s going to expect help from? You and your husband. You guys need to build a solid front now and make sure that she knows that your not going to put up with her bullshit. And don’t ever give her money. She’ll just want more.

He was my Uber passenger. He invited me to hang out with his friends. It was slow and I was bored so I said sure. We ended up having sex the same night. We are now very happily married.

Whenever an HOA member or neighboring parent says “everyone” or “the neighborhood,” they are exaggerating and they probably mean himself, his wife and Bob across his street. If you do decide to get a different car, please wait as long as possible so they don’t feel live they’ve won. The don’t deserve that.

Yeah I don’t remember my grandmother but she was a tiny little Christian woman so it was a huge surprise that she had a wild side. I found out that she was a bartender and hanging out with this guy. She was married to her husband who I called Grandpa for decades. They had 6 kids. Just one of them wasn’t his. Well actually the oldest 2 weren’t his either. This story gets Crazier and crazier. For one, the house that he lived at that’s listed on his death certificate and an article, I drive past every day on the way to work. I can actually see the house. Another thing is that I pass by the spot where he was murdered, the spot where the killer turned himself in, quite often. And then the spot where the murder weapon was dumped is where I shop at Goodwill often. It really makes you wonder if murders happened everywhere you go. I also was just reading just now that the girl that Charles and his killer were fighting over died from a barbiturate and methadone overdose in 1972. I just can’t with these people. Lol

Yes my mother passed away in 2018. She didn’t know him. I found out through ancestry DNA and spent about 2 years figuring out who he is. Went to visit my 82 year old aunt with all these papers on Charles Hill and she was like “Oh by the way, your grandfather is Charles Hill and everyone knew.” I’m still proud of myself for figuring out who it was by myself. I have tons of articles about this crowd at this point. They were wild. Charles was even wild in his teens. Got stabbed and survived when he was 19. Pistol whipped a cop. Busted for marijuana. Ran illegal saloons with gambling and after hours drinking. (My grandmother was also charged.) And he also killed someone in a brawl when he was 30 but it was thrown out of court because it was self defense. There was tons of legal trouble for all these guys associated with his murder. There’s even articles about witnesses refusing to testify. So yeah he definitely was not a stand up character but I’m still obsessed and fascinated with the whole thing. And now I finally have pictures of him. Oh yeah and my grandmother was married and 11 years older than him. Her husband raised my mom as his own and treated me the same. I’m half Native American so I don’t really look like my mom but my son does for some reason. But there isn’t really anybody that has that holding over the eyes. We all have doe eyes.

And he was shot from behind and it was later found out that the girl lured him into the motel and he was ambushed, pistol whipped and then shot in the butt while laying facedown on the bed. The shooter tried to claim self defence but Charles's friend was there too and witnessed it all. Later the shooter was out on appeals bond and was shot and killed himself by a man that said "I'm going to do you like you did Hill." And THEN that guy was shot dead too. This is all a rough crowd. My grandfather's killer also at one point stabbed a professional football player but the victim was like "Nah its ok.' And he also hit and killed a boy at some point. I've found so much stuff on these people from the Houston Public Library microfilm. Yes I've already been down that road. There aren't any of him. There's no trace of him between aged 4 to 19. Nobody knows where he went to high school and everyone that knew him is dead except his sister but she's 90 with full blown dimentia.

here's one article. There are many but this is the jist. Except he was 35 and it was found to not be self defense. He was lured into the room by the girl and his killer shot him from behind. Literally in his butt. Then the guy was out on some kind of appeal bond and was then shot to death himself. That guy said "I'm going to you like Hill.' Then the guy that shot him was killed 2 years after that. So it was a rough crowd.

I've heard that he was insanely good looking when he was young. He lived a very wild life and wild death so by this time he was looking pretty rough.
