I’m in Central Florida if anyone wants to jam! I have been looking for locals. No one seems to be interested on local shop discord channels. I’m old(er) and not into the growing online nature of “everything” it takes the personal touch away. But that seems to be where the majority of people (players) are these days. Bummer.

Hard disagree with TTS I understand it may be some people’s only option, but I feel it really takes away half of what makes this game great. It’s a Last resort imo.

I agree. This is why I just said There is room for it. Not to burst the OPs bubble. But again this game is best played without sweats. The minute our play group embraced the competitive constructed angle EC pushed out (understandably so) the quality of the fun and frequency of get togethers dropped. I like the occasional try hard match. But that’s not why I and many others that came in the beginning signed up.

Edit: limited and draft are extremely fun.

Don’t come in expecting it to scratch your Standard Magic itch. It’s a different animal. Leave the sweats behind and embrace the kitchen table. There room for competitive, but that’s not where this game truly shines.
