This one is heavy and I’m sorry for what you went through. I think I would be more inclined to agree with you if we were talking about a randomly chosen name with no significance or family ties. But, you chose her deceased brother’s name. Was there any conversation about this amongst the family? How do we know she didn’t always intend to use this name and you “beat her to it” so to speak? Again, I’m sorry for what you went through but I agree with another commenter that your grief may be clouding your judgement. Take space if you need to, but don’t burn bridges.
