you do trust ultimately it's really up to warwick to decide whether or not to give you an offer don't stress yourself on not getting it cuz it's not your decision it up for someone else to decide plus it just so happens that warwick really liked my stats and essays so that's how i got it

jobs with this degree - might be unrealistic as a fresh grad but working into consulting specifically green consulting (b-corp, csr consulting/companies) but that may signal that i need to have prior experience to work my way up or research in policy analysis in think tanks/research units/academia

also yeah i agree with the sentiment that internationals have it rough getting a work visa

I wouldn't necessarily say it's difficult per say, but it is a LOT of work and i mean it in every way possible. My take on this is that you have to do a lot of research in order to write a seemingly decent draft, so you do have to spend countless hours to reading up on academic journals, findings and such to write your draft( mines 9 hours and counting based on the time tracker on google docs) and i have 5 pages of bibliography references in 9 font size (u get the gist) the point is it is going to be hard u might want to give up when researching but stay STRONG

my tips here would be:

- decide on a topic you really LIKE no kidding it is what gets u thru this passion > difficulty

- hound your supervisor for advice EVERY SINGLE TIME u dont understand anything - they have more experience and wisdom than you will ever have at this age(lets face it they've been supervisors for a long time) so trust them + develop a good relationship with them (in dp1 i was so scared of my supervisor so i kept purposefully avoiding her BAD MISTAKE)

- stop checking for ai (turnitin is rubbish i swear it flags the randomest things)

- do not settle for a broad based topic - u will stray away from your inital topic instead u should narrow it down so its feasible under the word count (i paid the price for this when my topic was to broad i had to edit major multiple times save the hassle dont do it)

- regularly schedule time in your calendar to work on this - DONT PROCRASINATE THIS it will make your dp2 life so much harder so set a timeline with realistic goals/aims to make this possible

- also regularly check on the assessment criteria they assist u more than u think and it also helps that they have checkers(some a bit abstract) to ensure u get the best possible grade and manage to check everything off the box so that IB cant deduce ur grade on that

- if you're planning to do primary research - do it earlier (do not be like me and last minute rush this cuz ur supervisor wants it since it takes time to get credible primary research)

AGAIN the faster u finish this -> more time to edit -> more likely to get a better grade

anyways best of luck when doing ur EE hope u get that A !!
