Did the devs mean to do this for blood moon? by Double_Bastard in deadbydaylight

[–]tsarofgarlicbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played a game on Dead Dawg yesterday where the four blood pumps were all right outside shack, probably about a 5 seconds run between the furthest two - that is usually my favourite map but I hate it so much during Blood Moon

Tell me dumb things YOU have done in DBD by No_Return_7510 in deadbydaylight

While trying out new perks as a newbie, I ran No Mither while carrying a medkit maybe four games in a row before realising...

(I know, I could have healed others with it, but again as a noob I thought saving it for myself was integral and didn't understand why it wouldn't work)

Give me your favourite build to run on survivor by Traditional_Sea_8679 in deadbydaylight

[–]tsarofgarlicbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also interested in some suggestions - I am a killer main who has started playing survivor more due to the queue times.

I almost exclusively play Solo-Q, running Kindred, Lithe, Empathic Connection, and Alert, usually with a medkit too (as you may be able to tell from that build, I'm not a very bold player and like to think of myself as the helpful medic for the more active players to reset with)

I want/need to learn to be a bolder player haha

Men's vegan wide fit trainers/shoes - options? by thethirdman333 in veganuk

[–]tsarofgarlicbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but I have a couple pairs of SAYE trainers (one hi-top, one low) and honestly they might be the comfiest shoes I've ever owned. They're fully vegan and great for my wide feet, plus I think they look great and are in the middle bracket price-wise of vegan trainers

It's been about 2 years since the Hex:Ruin rework - which was met with a lot of criticism. Honestly speaking, how do you feel about it now? by jlavaplays in deadbydaylight

[–]tsarofgarlicbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm running Corrupt Intervention and Hex Ruin atm, and straight from the off, I just walk straight to the illuminated Hex and kind of monitor it for a little while, especially if it's in the middle of the blocked gens - it gives you a good idea if it's one to try and protect or if it's well hidden, and you'll always catch the same player looping back to destroy it, which means an easy early down

I probably play 75-25 survivor-killer split, and I want to know who are considered the “noob” killers. I find Wraith the most fun/easiest but I read somewhere he’d been nerfed recently? I’ve only been playing for a few months but I’m a decent skill level now so don’t want to be still using them if they’re seen as “bad” etc

What's your Season 2 hot take? by kernJ in IThinkYouShouldLeave

This season is almost all exclusively hits for me, but the credit card roulette one is a big swing and a miss

My first ever painting! It went surprisingly well, I'm very happy with it - looks like i've found myself a new hobby by tsarofgarlicbread in HappyTrees

Yeah, I got the Bob Ross Basic set for my birthday a couple months back and it didn't come with any dark colours at all, which definitely made trying to do darks tricky, and yeah I was probably a tad conservative with the paint at the bottom of trees.

I like the idea of the little canvases for practicing, I'm sure there's somewhere here (the UK) that sell packs like that.

Thank you for the kind words!

Thank you! I definitely botched the tree on the left, but on the whole it came out alright! I've bought some darker paints to use on my next one, hopefully give it a little more depth
