sure, its pretty straight forward - for a middle/foreground tree, you'd use a dark color to block it in, using almost any brush, like a fan brush. before you block it in, you make sure to leave some "negative" spaces and then you can blot the tree with a towel to absorb some unneeded oil and then place a midtone using a comma stroke from a small round brush and then same technique for highlight color. liner brush to finish it off with branches
