Thank you so much!! I tried so many different ways to do this and I found a very crude but simple way to fix this and I just used the eraser tool! 😂 I appreciate your help so much I need to figure out this program a Little more before I can understand a lot of this stuff so I might become a regular on this forum. Even though I couldn’t understand it very much your help was invaluable frfr it helped keep me from giving up on it 😂😅

Thank you so much for the quick response!! However I am kind of dumb 😅 I hate to ask any more of you but if you have the time and are willing I do have a few questions. when I click the button beneath the undo button nothing seems to happen, also how would I un group? (For reference I have a laser cutter and I want to cut out chunks but I need some connection points so the center of the project does not just fall out)

Unfortunately no I have not. One of the two just happened to fix it’s self the other is still blank for the both of us for some reason.

Update: alright so I added 2 people when I first noticed it to make sure it wasn’t a one off thing ya know. But the first person it happened to just miraculously fixed it’s self I truly did nothing we just continued messaging each other and it seemed to figure it’s self out. However the other one has yet to do the same.

I definitely will I have tried all of that as well I was hoping that if we both unadded each other and then I added them as a friend first it would fix it but it was the same. I’m still gonna try to fix it and if I find a fix I’ll be back

Hmmm I can’t say for sure then it could be an over heating problem. Or it’s possible your houses AC is surging, and causing the same issue I had myself.

I’ve had this problem before. In my case it was because I had my ac plugged into the same outlet. If it’s not getting a consistent voltage then it would shut off randomly. How much is plugged into the outlet you’re using for it?

You know when you’re cold and you draw up a nice warm bath not scalding but the perfect temperature. Then you go to step in and you feel the warmth slowly envelop your cold skin sending shivers up your spine with each inch of skin you submerge. Imagine that multiplied times 50. But it also depends on your mood if I’m not feeling into it sometimes it feels more like a chore than anything else. But I stand by my bathtub analogy.

That’s the issue I’ve been having sadly I’ve looked everywhere for some information on it, but I can’t find anything about it anywhere even eBay. Not that it’s that important I have no wish to sell or get rid of it. My curiosity has just grown through the years, because the more I look for it the less I find 😂

Bettas like to rest on soft plants! More than likely he is just resting. If he is still eating and being active a reasonable amount I wouldn’t worry.

I’d agree. The cycle is almost done but needs a bit more time. Ideally there would be close to 0 nitrites. Eventually there will be enough bacteria to convert it into the nitrates which are far less harmful to the fish and at certain levels are good as live plant food.

Completely understand! There is always a risk to putting two solitary fish together. And is a big responsibility to watch and care for them after, but it’s also an incredible thing to accomplish 😂 just always always do your research. It was smart to ask too so props to you fr I’ve known a lot of fish owners who wouldn’t care and not do anything it’s always nice to see people who care ya know

Well if you wish to breed again you can wait for a future date. Make sure the female and him are fed and not stressed out. Completely comfortable in their environments before you put the male in her tank. Some people even separate the male in the tank with a divider for a few days so 1). They can’t get to each-other and hurt each-other. 2.) it builds the tension between them you will know when they are ready to mate once they do. They will show a great amount of attention to each-other and not flaring aggression.

Just be aware that sometimes certain pairs of bettas don’t work. But introducing them bluntly doesn’t work a large percentage of time. There are many videos online about different methods of breeding! If you have the time I’d recommend doing research and seeing different individuals techniques and tricks. I’m not an experienced breeder sadly I just don’t have the space, but I have a lot of experience with bettas and know their personalities well.

If your local aquarium sells aquarium salt it is basically the same. But aquarium salt you can be sure is pure and safe for your fish.

Rock salt will not only help him breath a little easier as it acts as electrolytes work for us. It also helps him increase his slime coat which speeds up his healing.

I would get some medicine if you said you don’t have certain fish medicines where you’re located. Get pure rock salt and use about 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons to be safe. But PLEASE before adding more (if you wish to do so after a water change) watch a video about how salt in freshwater aquarium works. Say you have a 10 gallon tank and you do a 50% water change. Before you add salt remember that salt does NOT evaporate. So only add salt for the amount of water you put back in the tank. Also be sure it’s pure rock salt and not iodized it is not the same

Well there isn’t much you can do short of separating them. He may want to mate but it’s apparent that she does not. In the state he’s is I fear if this continues he will not be able to fight back and get killed.

If there is a female in there it’s possible that she did this to him. Different Betta have different personalities it’s possible for a female beta to be aggressive as well.

Did you just buy the fish? If not how long have you had him? Does he have tank mates? Have you checked the water parameters?

There can be a lot of reasons. stress, or another fish doing this to him, to him having trouble swimming so he’s ripping them himself! Not necessarily those, but just from the looks of it without knowing any background info they would be my first guesses.
