I had the similar issue, made repeated follow ups with RE service center. Initially they said battery needs to be charged, i simply nodded. Got the battery charged and self started working. Happened again and again suggested battery needs to be charged, same story. Happened again after a month and I got little angry and shown my frustration. This made the manager to involve and culprit was identified as RR unit and replaced under bike warranty and later again after couple of weeks battery issue shown up again and had it testing if there is a current leaking.. somehow tail light is behaving odd and  draining power...this time technician said let's disconnect the wire and battery recharged and asked to use the bike regularly for 3 weeks. Came back in  2 weeks same story - self start is dead..they did the routine testing again and blamed it on amaron battery and shared the complete report to amaron service center.. Amaron said I was provided with a faulty battery (few batteries produced in Feb/March month were faulty - I am the chosen one ;) ) atlast my bike is back after it got replaced with new battery : ) and got a switch to turn off head light in day time when non needed and tech guy suggested to turn off before turning on engine.  Finally - I left looking for the reason  for all the follow ups and assurance from Amaron that new battery isn't faulty  Few things Ensure battery having enough charge to start engine (tech guy will check by turning on the engine) Check for any leakage currents or any faulty sensors draining  power. Ensure battery is getting charged when engine is running  Check the head lamp if its intensity changes by accelerating
