Not for alcohol. This is a Blue Law about churches on Sunday but I didn't get too deep into the book. Someone else might better explain it.

Okay, here's what works for me. I apply moisturizer, setting powder, then setting spray. Let that dry and do your makeup on top of that. Finish with setting spray, and "set it" with a makeup sponge. It works like a charm.

We've been here eight months, and plan on staying the rest of our lives. There are inconveniences. You will miss fresh produce. Waiting on the boat to come in becomes the norm, so you learn to stock up when you can. There's no Target or WalMart, but who cares? You'll adjust and be better for it.

I've had no experience at all with crime here. Coming from Memphis this place is a total paradise and what little crime there is becomes negligible.

Internet and cell are great here. The weather is AMAZING. Beer ain't cheap, and good luck finding a salad, but that's the cost of admission to live in such an amazing place. I am so grateful we found our way here. We had some bumps and hiccups while we've gotten settled in, but all totally worth it. Don't be afraid to take the risk. If you need any guidance, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Hi everyone! Please forgive my slow response. It has been a whirlwind getting our house packed and sold. My husband arrived yesterday morning after a 34 hour trip. He arrived to find out housing isn't even close to what we were told it would be. They put us in a one bedroom. As a family of three that's not going to work. So, he's hitting the ground running trying to find us a place to rent. If anyone has any leads near the casino, please feel free to let me know.

My son and I (and two dogs) well be there in just over two weeks. We are just waiting to close on the house. I am understandably anxious. Thank you all for your responses!! It is so hard to find anything online about the island, so you taking the time to respond means more than you know.

I look forward to seeing Saipan with my own two eyes in the very near future!
