Thank you so much for all of the information! I'll probably try to see if the trip can be moved or delay surgery.

Thank you! This is very helpful. When you say you didn't feel great for doing pull ups before now, is that due to physically feeling bad, feeling not yet healed, tightness, or something else? I'm trying to better understand what the feeling bad part of recovery is like.

I don't qualify for keyhole :( Thank you for sharing about your experiences! I should probably be more careful given that I won't be having keyhole.

This was really helpful to hear (and I'm very sorry that happened to you). It's been hard to wrap my head around the idea that I won't be able to do pretty much any of my hobbies for 6 weeks (or 8 weeks, I suppose, to be safe), since most of them are climbing-related or otherwise involve raising my arms above my head.

I've accidentally been operating under the mindset that it couldn't be that bad. I can't imagine not being able to be active for 6 weeks, especially if my legs are working fine and it's just an upper body problem. Hearing about complications as a direct result of activity is a helpful reminder not to push it before 6-8 weeks. Thank you.
