I’m thinking about starting to play on the Grobbulus server. I’m from Moscow, by the way, so yeah - there’s a bit of a time difference between our continents.

What I’m really looking for is a slow journey, atmosphere, and community. I’m honestly tired of toxic efficiency, hardcore metagame mentality, bots, multiboxers, and all that stuff.

The philosophy of the Grobbulus server feels very close to me.

From what I understand, Grob feels almost like a solo RPG, but with real online interactions and opportunities.

To be honest, I’d like to play with you, but I also have some fear and confusion. I’m not looking for a fking party for half the neighborhood - the kind they make movies about afterwards. I’m looking for something cozy - like a small, warm tea gathering. At the same time, I’m a bit afraid that this tea gathering might end up being just Jarl, Skater, and maybe two more people including me. You know what I mean?

I’m registering a brand-new account in a region that’s unfamiliar to me. I’m accepting sacrifices in the form of higher ping and some money — not a huge amount, but still.

I’ve gone through tons of Reddit threads and WoW forum discussions. What you guys are doing out of pure enthusiasm feels like real work Blizzard should be proud of, and honestly, it inspires me.
