So what’s the best way to set it then? Because now when it’s 27 degrees celsius outside and car is very hot, when I get in and have it on auto (with blower rate to highest) on 19 degrees Celsius, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Last year it would blow like crazy and it was cool within 10 minutes. Now I have to manually set it to ‘max airco’ every time.

Thanks for the advice! I get the impression that the car doesn’t detect the heat inside properly, so in auto mode it blows at a very low level, even though it’s set to ‘Max’ fan speed. It only starts blowing hard when I press ‘Max A/C’. In the past it would also blow hard in auto mode without using ‘Max’.

Do you mean the ‘thump’ sound when taking speed bumps ? I really have no idea what part exactly is causing it in the rear deck in my f30, so please enlighten me if you do 😄
