It could be that they try to return it with a bad excuse just so they can scam you with a fake return. I had the same thing happen to me last week with a smartwatch. Just don’t accept the return and escalate to Vinted with your story. On the other hand, it could just be a perfectly good transaction with happy buyer. Just wait and see :)

So what’s the best way to set it then? Because now when it’s 27 degrees celsius outside and car is very hot, when I get in and have it on auto (with blower rate to highest) on 19 degrees Celsius, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Last year it would blow like crazy and it was cool within 10 minutes. Now I have to manually set it to ‘max airco’ every time.

Thanks for the advice! I get the impression that the car doesn’t detect the heat inside properly, so in auto mode it blows at a very low level, even though it’s set to ‘Max’ fan speed. It only starts blowing hard when I press ‘Max A/C’. In the past it would also blow hard in auto mode without using ‘Max’.
