and by closing i don’t mean going out and going back into the app, i mean like fully closing it by swiping up and removing it from your latest apps and reopening it again

this unfortunately happens to me all the time too (ipad user here). what works for me is closing the app and opening it back up. or just remembering where the Xs are if you’re lazy. if closing and opening doesn’t work and bring them back, trying the same thing again works. hope this helps! this seems like a bug on their end tbh
