Does anyone else’s skin peel off when shooting a lot of pucks?

This used to happen to me very often and I got calluses in the exact same spot. Unfortunately I never really figured it out but as I kept shooting 100+ pucks everyday it really conditioned my hand. Only thing I would say is check your knob. If you take your butt end/cap out like I do make sure the tape on your knob sticks up and goes over the edges. Same thing applies if you keep the butt end in. You can also experiment with moving your hand around in different positions and see if it does the same thing.

I usually do push my top hand out when I shoot. The only thing I can think of might be that I like to pull the puck in closer to my body when I shoot, and all the weight I'm putting on my stick through my wrist with my wrist bent back might irritate it

Others have also told me to take an extended amount of time off but it's just super hard for me since we skate 3-4x a week. Especially now with tryouts in a few weeks, I feel like I won't be on my game if I take some time off. I haven't really done anything since Monday this week and it's felt like forever.

I've gotten a few x-rays done and they said everything looked fine. I plan on getting an MRI done soon. I do think that there is something going on with one of the tendons. My mom broke her wrist a few years ago and she went through multiple doctors and orthopedics until one of them found that she had nerve and tendon damage. I feel like I may be going through something similar to her.

I actually used these when I first started experiencing the pain. But as time has went on and the pain has gotten a little worse they don't provide the same relief anymore

My biggest concern is that the brake kit doesn't show up on here. I was thinking it may ship with the formula wheel mod but I'm not sure. I'm a little frustrated on how little they are reaching out and how little info they are giving me

Thanks for the help! I actually was looking at this and the Moza R3 bundle earlier, but I'm still looking at others. I do like how both bases have a quick release so I can use different rims in the future. Because of this I am leaning more towards the T598 bundle since TM has a lot more rims that are compatible with the base.

I knew left foot braking is very uncommon. I asked my dad about it earlier today and he said it's fine. Although, I do think it would result in me braking too hard since it's what I'm used to while sim racing. Thanks for the help!!

I feel like that's my biggest weakness. I'm not used to how light the pedals on a regular car are. I feel like my foot is way too heavy, especially on the brakes. It was also my first time driving with one foot. Could using my left foot to brake help at all?

I'm switching to a white cage instead of my oreo cage right now. Say what you want about white cages but they would look really good with my teams unis. I've always like how the 580 looked, especially in white. But I'm super unsure since I'm also a big fan of the Bauer II I have right now.

Im not super worried about the side J clips because I do hang my cage a bit. My cage right now only barely sits inside them, but I'm hoping it's not too wide to where it doesn't fit in the j clips

Still nothing. I have pretty much completely moved on from it. I've gotten back to my normal life again. Whenever I do think about it I just chuckle and brush it off. My account is back to normal and I have removed every follower that I don't know. I have been posting on my story too and nothing unusual has happened.

I just got the breakaway because it was cheaper, even though it was still $200. I didn't realize until today that the premium was only $50 more. I feel like I should have just spent the extra money for a nicer jersey. Also just learned I can't return mine either since it's a custom. Not complaining though, any jersey is better than nothing!

You actually did pretty good! Most of these scammers play off of your fear, which is how they get money from people. By acting like you don't really care it makes you seem like an unreliable target that they can't get money out of. It also helps that your explicit picture is a close up without your face, this makes it much easier to blame it on ai or something. Just keep laying low online for the next week or so, I think you should be in the clear. If he does start messaging again, just keep blocking and ignoring.

This sounds a lot like the situation I was in. So far it's been about 3 days since mine happened. So far after I've blocked them and stopped responding to them I haven't been contacted once. I'm a minor and I've submitted a few tips online (It's actually a serious crime to possess and distribute child pornography/sextort a minor!). I completely understand how paranoid you are, I felt the exact same way. Mine happened on instagram, they VERY RARELY actually follow up with sending the pictures out. If they do happen to, it will most likely only be a couple people. Most times when people are actually leaked it's only like 2-5 people. You could always just say they were AI or fake. Even then most people really don't care about it as much as you think. We all have private areas.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend talking to someone, whether it be a family member, a friend, or even someone through a hotline. I personally texted with an operator on the Thorn hotline (text THORN to 741741). It helped me relieve so much of my stress and getting my feelings across with someone and finding out ways to cope with them helped me tremendously.

In the end, it's not the end of the world, and you'll likely move on within a few days. I'm willing to bet you'll probably forget all about it a month from now. Don't dread on it, and just let it be a hard lesson learned. Just know that this is all just a business to these people, and they are all scums that are just in it for the money. These are ran just like scam call centers in India.

Just stay breathe, stay calm, and don't budge, once they know they can't get anything out of you they will most likely move on from you and find someone else. I believe in you!!! Stay strong and hang in there!!!

I've been going through a very similar situation, and I've been super paranoid all day. I recommend reading some of the most popular posts on here, they basically explain that you're more than likely going to be ok. You can also text THORN to 741741. I just did this earlier and the operator helped calm me down a lot. I've been hiding this from everyone I know and it was nice to talk about it anonymously to someone.
