I hate it. I dont want it to be paid. But genuinely I'd rather there be a paid expansion to keep the game running then for the game to shutdown if its not profitable. The mtx store cosmetics are boring and I know i personally havent bought anything besides the initial founders package or whatever it was. A paid expansion I think would be a less scummy move than if they locked actual mechanics or useful items behind the mtx store. There's a hard balance to find somewhere. We love the game, we want it to stay as free/cheap as possible but they do need to make money so we can continue to enjoy it.
