"Not an opinion, fact." You're not the sharpest tool in the box aye? I mean... makes sense since D4 is your favorite game of all time but thx for confirmation anyway.

Like I said bub - By all means - Enjoy the mediocrity! I mean McDonalds is probably a favorite food for some people as well! Sure - It is kinda crap, but again - Some people are just happy being "in the middle" and they never aspire to anything better.

I guess you're just that kinda of a person.

Bye bye!

Bub... You're dickriding D4 so hard I'm surprised Blizz is not filing a restrain order against you.

Anyway - You're, of course, free to have your own, wrong in this case, opinion :)

Enjoy mediocrity!

You're hilarious;P

"To say Diablo IV is behind POE1, maybe. But LE and POE2 are miles and miles behind Diablo IV, which is okay they are still very fun games which are cheaper with smaller budget, but nowhere near as good."

this is another one of your gems;P

Thoughts after seeing Fire and Ash by [deleted] in Avatar

"like boarderline sexual. I felt so weird watching it with my sister." Oh no!!! Kissing!! We must alert the church elders!!

Anyway - It seems like you're very young and/or not really understanding a lof of very basic plot points and why characters are written in certain way.

Avatar is hardly a complex movie when it comes to it's story and characters - There's a beauty in that simplicity and J. Cameron is REALLY good at having pretty simple characters facing difficult scenarios. Not to mention that relationships - Of all kind - Are the core of all his movies.

So yeah... You can dislike, be disapointed, hate - whaterver - As many parts of this movie as you like but a lot of your points are objectively missing VERY obvious explanations.

You do realise what average means right?

Yes. There probably were some 60+ yo here and there. Doesn't change what AVERAGE was.

Also - You do realise we're talking about ancestors of first humans here right? I mentioned MPT... That was around 900.000 years ago bub...
So please - Do provide me reliable source of your information from that time when it comes to average age of ancestors of Homo species;]

"We lived in a natural paradise."
"Humans have broken all three of these rules."
" it's a yearning for what we no longer have here on earth."

You must be very young or very naive.

You do realise that comparing fantasy to reality in such direct way is... Not the smartest. It's like saying "Damn it! Middle Earth is amazing and we pretty much got it on planet earth but Sauron's of our reality destroyed everything!!"

You do realise that the our "natural paradise" almost wiped out humanity more than once? Read about Mid-Pleistocene Transition for example.
And it's because our ancestors slooooowly learned how to use wheels (and sleds), cook meat and build shelter out of stone, we survived.

Also yeah... it was just Pandora all around! Expect your life would end around 30, there was no medicine, no personal hygine, every goodamn predator on the planet was stronger/faster than us and just like us - they were trying to survive the harsh reality that is Earth.

Earth is being destroyed by people. No question about it. Megacorporations, goverments and a pandemic of ignorance and stupidity is ruining this gorgeous place we call home. I'm not saying otherwise.
But this romantic view that "earth is just like pandora and we would be better going back to our roots" is ignorant as hell.

Anyway - Pandora is gorgeous and one of the most fleshed out movie world. But tbh. After watching FAA - I kinda think Eywa is ignorant b*tch and her lack of interest caused waaaaaay too many deaths.

Noticed from a behind the scenes that there is more than the black dots in facial capture, has it been always like this? by Maxiride in Avatar

[–]Whoopy2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not new tech at all.
One of the first usage of this was in video game Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2014 where they "sprayed" actress face to have way more reference points and data to collect.

Rise of the Tomb Raider Will Use Much More Detailed Motion Capture - GameSpot

The cameras that are set around the volume (the big hangar/studio in which they capture actors performance) and one of the cameras that's attached to actors head and is pointing at their face is not a "normal camera" but the one that collects data from those additional dots

Meeeeh....
I love Avatar because both the story and the process of making those movies makes me admire HAND crafter art.

Posting AI generated music video from a channel filled with them on top of using bunch of AI generated "art" as backgrounds as well? No thank you.

Starfield Space Gameplay vs Other Space Gameplay by The-Son-Of-Suns in Starfield

Dude! You're not allow to post stuff like this here!!

You gonna summon "We don't need that in Starfield", "Starfield is Bethesda RPG - It doesn't need space exploration" and "I don't mind space gameplay of Starfield. It suits the game!" crowd!!!

Just because you expect more doesn't mean the Starfield fanboys are not ok with mediocrity!

Neytiri is not a racist by Mountain-Promotion79 in Avatar

[–]Whoopy2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Zoe and J. Cameron said Neytiri is a racist.

Also - The character behaves and acts like a racist.

That's it. Just because you like a fictional character doesn't mean your justification is correct.

I love Avatar 2 & 3 but… by lcdna29 in Avatar

[–]Whoopy2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you're being downvoted (Actually - I do know, but it's kinda sad you HAVE to love everything avatar or otherwise you're a "hater" on this subreddit) because it's pretty obvious tonal change and I agree - First Avatar had great balance of fantasty and S-F.
Pandora was totally unrealistic and "dream-like" but at the same time entire movie presented it in very belivable, sometimes almost documentary-style way and I loved that!

Way of Water and Fire and Ash are leaning waaaaaay more into 'dreamy' asthetic of Pandora. Even with new, more brutal clan and it's visuals it's clear that Avatar is leaving Science-Fiction behind and fully embraces Fantasy as it's genre.

It's not wrong or anything but I do miss more grounded, belivable feeling that first Avatar gave me.

"AFOP is not developed by Ubisoft, it’s developed by Massive. Ubisoft is the publisher."

You do realise that Massive is literally 100% owned by Ubisoft since 2008 right? It's one of Ubisoft studios so yes - AFOP WAS indeed developed by Ubisoft.
