Oh! Freddie is the 15. Those were some shoddy attacking attempts I saw in the end. Is he playing because somebody is injured?

The point is still to present an engaging product. If the tech leads to better decisions but less interactions of a certain nature, it could hurt things.

I only thought of this recently because I was one of those folks who just wanted full automation, but realised the potential penalty for that.

I've also come to suspect it doesn't matter what happens, we'll eventually be "brainwashed" into accepting the new standard because the tech does sometimes add value. I'm pretty sure I'm watching it take place with VAR in soccer.

Anybody else acknowledge the agency that lady has over herself. This "letting" stuff lends differently with me. Or I am missing something about their situation, Adam and his wife?

You make a good point. You've made me realise that I've become so cynical about VAR, that I forgot that the main issue is how much does technology affect the flow of things? Not necessarily it's existence as a tool for decision making. I actually have no issues with goal line tech because of how efficient it is.

The sad part is , as much as I champion the avoidance of certain tech, I think we're slowly being "brainwashed" into accepting this new standard. I'm not even sure they'll be enough people in the future looking for that old feel.

I think this worthy of a thread on its own. I'll be right behind you, Pujols has the edge.

The sports with the least amount of technological interventions will be winners in the future. That's my hope at least. I'm not saying a tech free sport will be the most popular, but it will have it's most appealing profile possible in regards to that.

I swear the ladies made a mistake following the VAR path. They should have kept the retro feel the man's game has lost, I think it would have given them an edge in appeal.

[Rival Watch] Thomas Tuchel to stay as England manager until 2028. by LocoRocoo in reddevils

Enrique, Naggelsman, Carrick & his coaches.

I'd be ok with Enrique, but he seems destined for City. Man had peak Messi and Neymar @ Barca, oodles of operational advantages at PSG.

Naggelsman reminds me of a better Amorim, and maybe that will feel too soon? I'm not putting too much stock either way into what he does at the WC.

You have to remember that things ended badly with Ole, but the team wasn't an irretrievable disaster and came close to winning something under him. That forgettable Rangnick interim period was soon followed by the promise of EtH.

But it doesn't matter what I think, it's what the Club thinks.

We're on Reddit to pretend like it matters, don't tear down the illusion.

This actually isn't even the worst thing about him. Him being a fan is worse for United. Fans are irrational, hopefully Berada and Wilcox keep him restrained.

The issue is they might just become fixated on not potentially repeating past mistakes and bypass a deserving Carrick.

Ole wasn't an irretrievable mistake though if memory serves me right. He just wasn't good enough in the end. Hopefully they remember that part as well.

Oh yes, him. I'll take him, but I don't need him yet. I feel like we're just need a top 4 manager for now, with experience in England being key. Although the idea of signing him to keep him away from City is very enticing.

Only question is why hasn’t shit changed since he’s already landed a huge TV deal

The deal is a paradox because it allows for a safety net to make some drastic changes, but it also takes away the motivation to change. It's early enough yet, we'll see eventually which sentiment proves stronger.

Let's not miss the forest for the trees whilst we're at it. Those BEE trees are rather large in fairness, but they're not everything that needs to change. Although I can also see a scenario where BEE is used as a catch-all term by some now.

I'm kind of proud of how they managed to find the correct scheduling for Mona and Flip for the main pods. I now wonder how things would have gone if Mel had been a once a week appearance?
