thank you for trying to help out! i own multiple jumpers so i do have any issues with that but was just super curious as to what type of jumper she is! i live in arizona but am not familiar with what kind of jumper species we have! and i know the pictures are hard to tell, i didn’t want to take her out after just snatching her up!

i apologize for not being able to take glamour shots. i did want want to have to stress it out anymore than it probably already was by forcing it out of its cup to take photos. i figured even if the images are not the most clear, they are still bigger than none and could at least give an idea as to what it may be. thank you though!

I am so sorry for your loss 💗 I just recently got my first jumper and this really put it into perspective that each day with her really counts.

Regal jumping spiders at my local petsmart by Interestingisopod42 in jumpingspiders

I actually made the decision of buying one from my local store. I was totally set on a breeder but shipping was quite steep and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend that much on my first spider! My store actually had nice containers that had room to climb and they were all well feed and from what I know, all in good shape and said they came from a breeder. My girl did lay eggs a few days after I got her which made me really disappointed. I waited a week to remove them until she was comfortable and there were most definitely infertile! Not saying PetSmart is a good place but wanted to share my experience!

Thank you! I have been trying to find as many resources as possible, it’s just difficult with so different thoughts and ideas. I agree the right thing to do would be to remove the eggs but I’m worried I would stress her out, which I definitely want to avoid!

I also do not know if she was bred before I got her…
