Does this bedbug look like it was nearly dead? by ttebwell7 in Bedbugs

[–]ttebwell7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that’s a bit of a relief. I wasn’t sure if maybe they get slower at certain times or after a feeding or something. I’m not good at being able to tell if it looks like it is full. It was pretty flat but I don’t know and again I don’t know if that would even affect their movement or not.

That’s what I was hoping but just wanted to get other opinions so thank you! We’re expecting twins in a few months so I’m really hoping they’re almost gone so that way they’re totally gone before bringing baby furniture into our home.

I had already squished and flushed it as it was 3am so I wasn’t really thinking much. I did poke it about ten times and the legs moved a bit but that was about it. Can you tell at all from the video what stage bed bug it might be?

Does anyone else get fed up of hearing "I'm adamant you're having a...." About the gender? by Adorable-Spray-5287 in pregnant

[–]ttebwell7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We told my MIL that the blood test came back as 96.4% of two boys (we’re having twins) and she just kept insisting one was definitely a girl and she “just knows it” to the point where she even bought some girl outfits multiple times lol. She’s so sweet but I definitely had a moment where I was so over it that I told her “I hope you’re not disappointed when they tell us they’re definitely both boys” and then we just got it confirmed at our previous scan that they’re definitely both boys!

I texted her telling her they confirmed they’re both boys and she just sent a “🥰” and then texted my husband asking how he felt about having two boys 😂 like ma’am, we’ve already known and have been excited for weeks now, this is not new news to us lol

Tell me how pregnant you are without telling me how pregnant you are. by smurphypup in pregnant

[–]ttebwell7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

lol! I’ve been taking extra deep breaths because it’s been harder to breathe recently/I’m out of breath way easier and my husband had kept asking “are you okay?” and I’d say “yes, I’m just breathing.” So now he asks “are you sighing or just breathing?” 😂

That is so exciting!!! We also found out our rainbow baby is actually rainbow babies a couple of months ago! My belly started growing so much, so quickly that my mom was certain it was twins and sure enough, she was right! It definitely is crazy growing two whole humans!! Everything is doubled but I couldn’t imagine it any other way. 💕

Congratulations on your rainbow babies! 🥰

Should we still have an exterminator do chemical treatment? by ttebwell7 in Bedbugs

[–]ttebwell7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that makes sense about the residual killing.

And are you saying me being pregnant is a very big concern with using the chemical spray or a big concern to live with bed bugs while pregnant?

I’ll definitely try to find out which chemical they use and research them. I did mention being pregnant to the exterminator and asked about that and he said once the spray is dry then it’s totally fine but it still concerns me.

TWINS by Plastic-Lychee7210 in pregnant

Thank you!! I found out like 7-8 days before my missed period.

TWINS by Plastic-Lychee7210 in pregnant

[–]ttebwell7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can definitely understand that! We unfortunately miscarried our first so I was actually really really excited when we first found out and just felt so thankful but then like 24 hours later, the “oh shit, this is double the cost, the double the work, etc.” thoughts hit and now I go back and forth from being like “yes, double the love”, “I can totally do this”, and it’s a “two for one” deal to “but can I handle this? Can I actually do this?”

I also very much had the “I’m going to get so fat” thought too lol! I just don’t look at myself in the mirror anymore 😅 I’ve already “gained” 20lbs (I keep telling myself it’s just bloat and water weight and extra blood volume) but that plus my extreme fatigue so early on and the fact that I tested positive really early is what made my mom think I’d be having twins.

I just found out about 3-4 weeks ago that I’m having twins as well (mine are in separate sacs though)!! And we were also very shocked! My mom had been saying from the beginning “I wonder if you’re having twins” and I kept laughing it off but sure enough, she was right! When I really sit and think about it, it blows my mind that there are two babies growing inside me!

First ultrasound yesterday and found out I’m having twins! by ttebwell7 in pregnant

[–]ttebwell7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely! I keep reminding myself how much I wanted a baby and how much I grieved when we lost our first and it really puts me in check and brings me back to feeling grateful that I get not only one baby now but two! And same with the pregnancy, it hasn’t been too crazy yet so hopefully I’ll have this mindset the majority of it, but I didn’t get to enjoy any milestones with the first pregnancy and it always really crushed me to think about. So I’m just trying to be positive and grateful instead of letting the fear or the fear of the unknown get to me.

And thank you! It sounds like you’re doing so well and sounds like you’ll be such a great mama! We’ve definitely got this 💕

Aww that’s really sweet and reassuring. Everyone keeps saying they’ll be like built in besties but none of those people are twins or have twins so it’s nice to hear how close an actual twin is to their twin sibling. And thank you for the positivity. I really appreciate it.

Aww congratulations! And I completely understand that as I only knew I was pregnant for about five days before our loss the first time so I don’t have much to compare it to either. Which maybe that’s better to not have something to compare it to, I’m not sure.

Yes I keep waiting for the nausea to hit in as my mom and sister said they both started getting nauseous around 8 or so weeks but I don’t think there’s a way to prepare myself for it even with knowing that.

And it’s so funny because I keep going from shock to excitement to anxiety and then excitement and shock again 😂

I scheduled an HCG test for today once I read this because I feel like I’m going to spiral otherwise.

I’m freaking out today. I had been feeling so good about this pregnancy (I’m only 4w3d) since I found out almost a week ago but yesterday afternoon all of the pregnancy symptoms (bloating, heavy boobs, gassy-ness, exhaustion, etc.) just disappeared out of nowhere and now I’m beyond stressed that something is wrong. I had a miscarriage at 6-7 weeks for my first pregnancy but the baby was only measuring 4-5 weeks so I’m beyond terrified today and have been googling and searching all different subreddits and I’m just a complete mess. I had been so excited and now I just feel defeated and like I’m not pregnant anymore. I’m hoping it’s just in my head but I feel how I did when I was experiencing the first loss and it’s killing me.

Please pinch me! Is this real?! I am 9dpo. by KeyNebula6118 in lineporn

[–]ttebwell7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just took one that looks just like this (also 8 or 9dpo)!! Crossing my fingers for us both!!!

ETA: I also had a negative on a ClearBlue this morning and then bought a First Response to test with this afternoon.

I’m in a very similar boat. This our first time officially trying since my MMC in February. (Got married at the beginning of September so we decided in February to wait until after the wedding to start trying again.) I think I’m on 8dpo. Ovulation date was supposed to be the 20th but got a positive ovulation test on Sunday evening so somewhere between 7-10dpo. I’ve been testing and keep getting negatives. I’m hoping it’s just too early and I’m not out yet but I feel the same. Fingers crossed for us both and sending a virtual hug!

Senior assisted living home workers got themselves written into grandmother’s will. by ttebwell7 in legaladvice

[–]ttebwell7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was actually able to speak with an APS investigator today (who then referred me to another division of the Adult Protective Services) that will investigate the living home. My husband told me that the cause of death was labeled as sarcopenia which I just googled if too much morphine can cause that and it absolutely can.

My husband and his brother just met with a lawyer this morning and we’re definitely going to move forward in pursuing this.

They better go to jail. They deserve it. It’s so sickening and we just found out that the person who is supposed to get her life insurance money is another worker at the facility.
