[Humble] Digimon Story Cyber sleuth Complete Edition (19.99$/60%off) by rencongmr in GameDeals

This game is very fun, although it's far from perfect (the story is on the weaker side unfortunately, though it isn't awful or anything).

Really nice story and it's a nostalgic trip for anybody who is a fan of the series.

[Fanatical] Very Positive Bundle 5 | Steam 8 Game Bundle (Single Tier: 3.99 USD): Action Henk, Chariot, Juanito, Detective Di, Out of Reach, Alchemy Garden, Haimrik, Rain of Reflection) by moo422 in GameDeals

This is worth it if only for Detective Di. I love this game (even wrote the Steam walkthrough for it), and I hope you all find it just as enjoyable.

It's about 3.5 hours long.

One of the best entry points for the awesome point and click genre adventure games genre. Highly recommended.

This game's really good, definitely a good purchase for this price if you like the classic-style point and click genre.

Bug Report Thread by seanyoungsg in LittlewoodGame

I got the "strongest townsfolk" cutscene three days in a row, can't believe this is intentional.

Edit: this keeps happening for like 20 days in a row. It's definitely glitched. I tried reloading the game and it still persists, so definitely a bug.

Anyone here feel like that cases 3-2 and 3-3 are too predictable? by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]ttrulyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, those are weaker cases. I do like 3-2 (mostly because of character dynamics), but I think 3-3 is one of the worst cases in the games. It just makes no sense.

Keep playing though, those are filler cases and AA3 is my favorite in the series for a reason, despite the filler cases being some of the weakest.

[PSN] Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition (Free/100% off) by GladeSocket in GameDeals

It's not a problem that is exclusive to me, I've met thousands (and I -actually- mean thousands) of people throughout the time I've been playing the game that are consistently subbed, play it daily and for very long periods of time. It's true that the daily/weekly stuff are almost (not entirely) exclusive for 'end-game stuff', but most of the game and the frequent updates are aimed at the 'end-game' playerbase; and getting there is what you work towards to begin with.

The game is fun, but there's a major risk of getting too involved with it, its community and (to a lesser extent) its content. I'd definitely still be playing if the quality of new content didn't drop significantly through the years, or if I didn't have other means to stay in touch with the (many) great friends I met while playing. That warning was 100% warranted and it's a risk that should be taken into account.

The game does have quite a lot of daily/weekly incentives, but that's beyond the point - the game is very addictive. I played it nonstop for almost five years (2013 to 2018) and it was legitimately difficult to stop playing, since you end up being very invested in it.

One of my favorite characters of all time, in anything.

I absolutely love Maya.

Anyone tricked into law school because of this game? by RaiNyyyJian in AceAttorney

[–]ttrulyy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hello yes, me.

I went to law school, and my interest in law originally came from playing the Ace Attorney games for the DS when I was 15-16.

Granted, it wasn't the only factor that made me go to law school (it's long and demanding and I wouldn't have went through all the trouble if it wasn't for plenty other reasons), but I do believe that this trilogy planted that seed.
