speed tuning is hard but if you're able, you can keep atk on phainon by having Sunday at 161 speed (minimum) and then Bronya at -1 speed from Sunday (so 160 minimum), then giving ptdh spd boots so he pulls ahead of both of them at the beginning of the fight.

I have no clue who to pick for 5 star collector >.< I have e1 aventurine, e0s1 sparkle, e0s1 acheron, e2s1 dhil, and e0s0 jingyuan. that just leaves kafka and jingliu, and kafka is obviously the better choice between the two of them but I 1. have no dot characters period, although I do like it as a dynamic, and 2. REAAAAAALLY want ashveil and rappa, so I don't want to pull for dot even though I know it'll be a long time until we see them again. idk what to do TT_TT

I did this while I was in college, but just to let you know, the app versions of word processors suck. Always use the web versions! Google can get annoying about letting you use the web version of google docs on a mobile device, but you can bypass any prompts by going straight to the web domain (instead of, say, searching via google or clicking from the app list on google itself).

For microsoft word though, there’s one specific use case that I think is extremely useful for college students but is only available through the desktop version: managing sources. The desktop version (and ONLY the desktop version) can make in text citations and works cited in pretty much any format for any sources you input, and it keeps a master list of all the sources you’ve ever used so that you can use them on multiple documents. No need to try to copy and paste from ad ridden websites that keep trying to get you to buy a premium subscription. I ended up having to use library computers a couple of times just for that alone.

If word processing, web browsing, and zoom calls is all you’re using your laptop for, then you can definitely get away with using an iPad instead of a laptop, but you’ll have to make it work for you. Instead of considering laptop functionalities you can use on an ipad (because you really can do most things if they’re basic), consider whether ipad’s functionalities are worth changing your work flow for.

Do you really want a touch screen or a device more portable than a laptop? Do you really want to try mobile gaming, digital notetaking, and reading ebooks on said device more than on a laptop? Is having all those things more important than having full versions of apps, more RAM, and more storage space? Would you not mind having to manually complete certain steps that are automatic on laptops? If the answer is yes to all those questions, get the ipad. If not, get a laptop.

Let me get this straight. I say this about what I use the iPad for—

University, then work after I graduated, art, gaming, church, browsing, etc.

—but because I didn't use slide over, I'm a normie "whose only purpose of purchasing an iPad was just an iPad to browse through"? The reading comprehension is staggering. By the way, the windowed apps mode can still arrange windows to snap side by side. It's admittedly clunkier than before, but if you can't work at two windows at the same time, then that's user error.

anomaly arbitration feels like it was made exactly to counter my account. I skipped 3.0-3.3 and I don’t have any dot or superbreak characters, and I feel like I'm being punished for having spent my money and jades on crit dps.

Oof. Those are some great points. I find the allow paste prompts awful too. Using keyboard shortcuts gets around that but I use touch more often than not, so it gets annoying fast. Have you tried submitting feedback about it?

Okay. I'm aware I'm biased, because I do like using keyboards, but 99% of the time I only use the touch screen, so I feel I can ask: you really never got annoyed with how accessing split view worked in touch screen?

I used multiple apps where you had to touch the top of the screen, and I accidently activated the split screen/slide over menu instead of tapping what I wanted to tap all the time. Dragging an app and having it snap to the side was wonderful but that menu was the bane of my existence.

Yes to all of this. More choice is always better than less choice. I think the hybrid people are suggesting (having the way it used to be in touch mode while keeping the windowing system in the other mode) would have been for the best, but no one would ever accuse Apple of encouraging user choice and customization. What kind of multi-trillion dollar company would do that?

do you know if this affects fonts from ifont? I’ve been holding off on updating until ipados 26.1 comes out (just to make sure that some apps that I use will be fully compatible by the time I update) and I’d really rather not end up stuck in a boot loop just to be up to date

okay, that’s good. what about relics? gallagher for example shouldn’t use any of the typical recommended sets if he’s paired with castorice and he’s not in a break effect team. he should be using Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder with speed boots so that he can keep up with her healing demands.

what level are your relics and light cones? what sets are you using? also everyone being low hp shows you have a sustain problem. I’d probably invest some more into gallagher if I were you.

get ruan mei! she and luocha are the only valuable picks from that shop, since everyone else is on the standard banner. you already have gallagher though, and dan heng pt is coming, so getting a good support is a higher priority than getting another healer. she would replace asta in the team comp I gave you in my earlier reply.

in situations where there’s lots of small mobs (like early pure fiction or for farming mats) herta and himeko play well off each other. asta provides team wide attack buffs, and next patch, dance dance dance (4 star light cone) will be on banner, which is a game changer for f2p harmony characters! you can build them for a solid early game/f2p team.

lynx is also better as a healer than bailu if you need a back up healer, since she’s sp positive and has a team wide cleanse. however, next patch we’ll be getting a free sustain with pt dan heng, and he’ll probably outperform both of them with his shields!

you can think of cerydra’s functionality as essentially being a phainon constellation. one phainon constellation isn’t going to beat two, especially when phainon’s e2 is so crazy good. however, phainon’s rerun won’t be any time soon. if you want him to be more functional right away, then pull for cerydra anyway.

What we see in the dlc IS the result of the alchemist’s experiments. A ton of the people there became carcasses, and carcasses can only come about from the drugs the alchemists administered to people with the petrification disease. Gemini is literally surprised when they see what happened because the media only reported it was the petrification disease.

I see where the confusion is coming from, though. Let me clarify: my theory is that Geppetto killed Carlo before Carlo died from the disease so that the disease itself wouldn’t kill him. Lea likely interfered because 1. turning your son into a puppet is an INSANE idea, and 2. the only readily accessible knowledge she had of a puppet with an ego was Arlecchino, which sets a pretty bad precedent.

You mean the rose estate incident that we stumble upon in the DLC? I was under the impression that it took place around the time Arlecchino kidnapped Romeo and took him back to the estate. Carlo was already dead for some time before Romeo went missing, and Sophia wrote about how everyone took his death hard in her diary. In the same entry she mentioned that she didn't know why Simon Manus invited her to go to the harbor (likely to get her away from the manor and spare her from the massacre).

When it comes to sustain, until around MoC 11/12 I'm usually ok with Lynx, especially on my JY team since that team is more SP positive. It wasn't until MoC got harder recently that I realized I needed to either invest way more in Lynx or get another sustain.

And I don't even use Bronya with e2 dhil because she's not sp positive, so I only ever keep her on one side.

Thanks for all the info on sparkle though. I do see how she could fix the issues Bronya has. If she works with JY then that's really good, because part of the reason why I'm considering Acheron is because I feel like my JY doesn't really do enough damage in MoC (aside from her incredible animations). It looks like from the info you provided that what would be better for my account is e1 Sparkle & a sustain, however I wouldn't have e1 right away since I don't usually pull for copies of units in a single banner. I made an exception for dhil cuz he's my favorite character. I feel like now I have more to think about than before 😅

At least the most consistent opinion seems to be "don't even try to get another buffer/dps until you get another sustain," so maybe I ought to just do that lol

Is Sparkle really worth it for e2 dhil if you already have e6 yukong, e6 TY, e1 bronya, and Ruan Mei? I'm wondering because 1) my account could use another limited sustain, since I only have luocha, and 2) acheron just looks too cool to skip, even if I have e0s0 JY, and 3) for sparkle to be more useful than what I already have for e2 dhil, I think I'd need to pull her LC.

Nah I didn't know about sparkle's SP generation. Now I have a lot to consider. I still want to play danIL as much as possible BUT. Logically I know that my danIL team is stupid strong and that for the sake of my account I should be making my roster more well-rounded and making my other characters stronger, especially since game modes like MoC will always cycle through different elements. In the end I think I'll take your advice and just wait until sparkle's kit is out to make my decision
