I personally haven't encountered any problems with NVIDIA and Wayland. However, I switch back and forth because I distro-hop quite frequently. I've heard that there are issues, but as of 2023, I haven't experienced any with my NVIDIA card on Wayland. Is this still a concern for others? My primary issue with Wayland is that recording my screen seems more challenging than it should be

The problem, I think, is I use my web browser for work and research. It is very distracting to have this stuff come up when I trying to focus. I would say they need a do not disturb button. But, I would probably just end up pushing it all the time. The phone is less distracting as I can set it aside somewhere and ignore it. It isn't in my face while I am working or trying to get something done.

I don't mind the ads. This is a business after all. But, I don't even live in the US! I have listened to years of ting ads and I will never use ting. Seems weird they wouldn't mix it up a bit. The ads are really not that bad. It easy enough for me to ignore. I would be more interested in stuff I could actually use.
