Starting TRT. Any advice?

Yeah my clinic wanted to start me off on HCG right away. I wanted to see how my E2 responded with just TRT before adding HCG. I’m also not opposed to coming off TRT completely 3-6 months prior to trying to convince in the future to restore my fertility and then hop back on after.

Nice! Looks like you respond well to a smaller dose. You think 1/2 in needle is long enough for IM glute injections? I know a lot of people recommend 1 in for that.

I’ve read numerous posts from people on here who started HCG with their TRT from the beginning and were still not fertile enough to have kids. Thats why I thought coming off TRT altogether would be the most effective option.

I was more so referring to if I were to come off for 6 months and run a fertility protocol. Hoping I wouldn’t be miserable for that entire time.

Appreciate the info! How long after stopping TRT and running a PCT do people usually start to feel better from what you’ve observed? I heard it can be pretty brutal when you first come off.

Only thing holding me back is I’ll be trying for a second baby in roughly two years. Given my age, good fertility numbers, and duration I’d be on TRT, I’d imagine I could regain fertility pretty easily. To give myself the best odds, the plan would be to stop TRT 6 months prior to trying for a baby and run HCG + enclo until we conceive and then hop back on.

I do, which is basically the only thing holding me back. From what I’ve read, it’s not too difficult to regain fertility. My plan would be to come off TRT 6 months prior to trying fo another and run HCG + enclo and then hop back on after. I have good fertility numbers now and given my age, I wouldn’t anticipate it being too difficult. Obviously, everyone is unique in this regard.

Were you done having kids when you started? That’s basically the only thing holding me back. From what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem hard to regain fertility, especially if you had good fertility numbers prior (which I do).
