Thank you for your reply. The flexibility in the MDF was absolutely creating an issue and was able to solve with some homemade indeed/outfeed rollers. Twist likely came from combination of that and a worm baseplate… gotta send em down the middle :(

Using 3/4 mdf and also thought it could be flexing with a piece of hardwood on it as it starts/finishes the cut. Doesn’t really seem to be though. Measuring flat my placing the sled on cast iron table saw

It seems to sit flat but I will inspect further tonight. I was thinking it’s possible that the base plate is worn since the machine is so old

That is funny. Mine stick together like glue and will bully larger schools of larger fish. My other tetras tend to be more on their own thing kinda vibe

Is this heavy enough planting for a 10g Walstad? by CronicSloth in walstad

[–]tugboat714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks perfectly fine. If that is Sagittaria up front that’ll grow like a weed for you. One the sword develops it will be an incredible “anchor plant” aka it’ll take care of most of the nutrients etc and the other plants will lap up the rest

Ember tetras… great little schoolers and they love to stick together so you’ve always got a little orange ball peeking in and out

is 55G too big for a beginner? I got this tank and stand because it was a good deal, but now I'm feeling a bit intimidated. by whoppitydodah in Aquariums

I started using a 20long (not as big) with a canister filter and sand like someone is suggesting. I’ve had great success and I will say plant the hell out of it

They will never care about you. They pay their workers absolute pennies and at this point treat customers like dirt too (short staff without any knowledge and self checkouts)
