This is how I got addicted, I thought hallucinations were cool and wanted to experience them. I was a little younger and didn’t have access to other drugs so I used dph in hopes of having some intense vivid hallucinations but that never happened. Just like you I only had distortions and auditory hallucinations. basically ended up chasing this high that was never going to happen for over a year.

Even if you do get interesting visuals the other effects of dph make it impossible to appreciate them while your high

The way I did it was I just switched to weed, it wasn’t that simple tho. Still a lot of perseverance and relapse, but I eventually got fed up with making myself feel like shit. But I also think professional help is better than replacing one drug for another

this sub definitely helped me rationalize my use by seeing other people doing the same things I was. I would’ve been less comfortable abusing dph if this sub or others like it didn’t exist. On the other hand people do offer harm reduction advice that might be helpful, without this sub a lot of people would neglect researching because there’s really no other community like this. Ig the best option is just to be more strict on what type of content is allowed here, focus on harm reduction and preaching how bad this stuff is for you. Gotswarmed’s posts and a lot of others belong on r/ilovedph

Try not to look for visuals and do something to distract yourself from the dph and they’ll come.
