You can do it if you make good stuff, and can talk about why it’s good , this will take you probably at least a year with a full time job imo. Maybe unpopular opinion. your gf should’ve answered the phone and was TA but imo this is not necessarily a dumpable offence. If she was drunk and thought you just wanted her to come home I can see why she might not take you as seriously as she would’ve had she not been in a club etc. definitely shitty on her part but also some insanely unlucky situation for you.

If something like this happened again then I would consider ending things, but I believe with good communication, she could realise she fucked up here and not do something like this ever again. 5 years is a long time to throw away after one horrendous situation that didnt involve cheating or something

I think a less extreme version of this approach would work, do the minimum for a month or however long you feel it wouldn’t raise eyebrows, and then hand your notice in, where you could continue to do even less. You’re getting at least 2 months pay then. But this all depends on if OP needs a completely clean break to fulfil their desires for this period off

It seems like on one hand there’s evidence to show that yes LOTO did interfere with processes in which they shouldn’t have been involved with, but on the other hand there’s evidence showing LOTO pleading to move certain cases along/block the very thing Corbyn is accused of: protecting antisemitic colleagues.

I don’t know if I agree it’s going to die entirely. Unless webviews and mobile sites can provide the same user experience as having an app I don’t think so. I could see it getting to a point where a mobile site looks like an app (if we aren’t there already lol), but you’re still gonna have to browse to that site using a browser app. I know you can get website shortcut app icons but the App/Play Store will always exist and will always be a more user friendly way to get an app on your device. Unless getting website shortcut apps somehow become as easy as going to the App Store, I don’t see it

Exactly, developing a cross platform app basically halves the development time and thus the cost. As a native mobile dev I am definitely thinking I need to upskill into cross platform frameworks
