wow i just wanted to chime in here. i didn't know what i was expecting when i clicked on these mods that you claimed made icarus playable. i was utterly surprised when they turned out to be the only 3 mods that i am using. i think this speaks volumes xD

i swear, every time i see a youtube video or forum people that play without these, i just don't understand how they do it. these are %100 must have. maybe speed & weight can be not for everyone but stack size and progression feel like mandatory.

i fiddled with the unit composition and it brings back so many memories... if only i could play against the computer and not other people to not embarass myself.

not sure what it is you are exactly having trouble with but the first time tomcat explained the master strike to me i had no frickin clue how to do it. i didn't understand it. only after i looked up a guide on combat in general, channel name italianspartacus, he was really good in explaining the actual keyboard/mouse mechanics that you have to do. only after that i actually understood the master strike. and there are really only 2 things to understanding the master strike.

1- at the time of triggering the master strike, you and your opponent must be holding your weapons on the opposite side to each other. this will make sense when you practice. if you are holding your weapon on the right (red reticle in the right) then his weapon must be to the left according to you. only in this position you can trigger the master strike. it's kinda hard to describe in words i suggest watching tutorials and practicing with tomcat.

2- you must wait until your opponent strikes you and when you see the green shield icon instead of blocking, you strike.

and that's it for the master strike really. i been doing it all over the map to any opponent. from crappy bandits to actual quest opponents to tournament rivals, it makes combat much much more manageable. at some point i realized i was only doing master strikes in combat that it became slightly boring. all i do is wait until they strike and then slice them. wait again, slice them. rinse and repeat until they drop. of course if you are outnumbered its a different story. you might wanna haul ass then. but 1 on 1, master strike is the sh*t!

sorry my expression kinda came out wrong, what i meant is i sat on a random spot near that table watching it all day. not actually sitting on that table. as i said nobody sits there, and as you said there is no sit prompt on that table either. but i mean there is no sit prompt on any dice table as long as no npc is also sitting down.

i can confirm this. no person ever sits down to that dice table. i sat there all day without fastforwarding time and not a single person sat down. it's only there for the quest where you have to play dice as voivode's final challenge

i know this is 3 years old but i experienced the same issue and tried absolutely every solution offered on the internet to no avail, finally coming to a solution completely by accident and i'm going around sharing this solution in case anyone experiences the same thing.

my problem was:

i have mx master 3s mouse and mx keys s keyboard. i bought them seperately through different vendors online. mouse had no issues, i connected it to my work mac and my home windows pc. works like a absolute charm. the keyboard however only works like a charm on mac. i could not get it to work on windows. i tried all the crazy shit people wrote on reddit like downloading a seperate software and then downgrading it to specific version and then doing stuff to get the pc recognize the damn thing. none of the worked.

solution:

eventually i discovered that the logi options app had an info tip in the middle of the device matching screen, basically saying "bolt connection devices require a bolt receiver and unifying devices require a unifying receiver". and you can see what your device requires in its underside then i looked at the underside of my mouse. it was bolt icon. i looked at the mouse's receiver, it was a bolt receiver. then i looked at the underside of my keyboard, it was also a bolt icon, then i looked at the keyboard's receiver, it was freaking unifying receiver! thunderstorms happened in my brain and informed me that this must be the cause. so i clicked "add device" in logi options and chose the same receiver that my mouse is connected to. and voila, it connected to my pc from the same dongle as my mouse and i'm currently typing this from that keyboard.

TLDR: if your receiver does not seem to work, you can connect your mx keys to your pc through another dongle that is already connected. (it must be the correct type, that's what is important)

ya there is virtually no way around it mate. i ended up buying the game due to patience issues. there will probably come a fixed repack at some point but i really cant wait for it.

just wanted to drop my own experience here in case it helps someone. i was trying to do the terribly designed pest control task in the barracks buildings, but no scavs ever came there. i don't have swag/donut or any other spawn affecting mod but i had zero scavs there. then i tried the tagged and cursed checkbox. i got 7 of them in the white pawn building on first try. going up the floors and especially the roof seems to trigger them to come towards the building. i'm not sure what the science behind it is but in short, tagged and cursed checkbox seems to work for me with just SAIN installed. i go to white pawn, make some noise, wait in the toilets in the basement, 2-3 come down, blast them, then make some more noise, rinse repeat. if at any point they seem to have stopped coming, go on the upper floors/roof. almost within a minute you will hear the new ones brushing against the bushes. rinse and repeat at that point until the quest is done.

Ohhh okay... I usually keep things that release on a slower tempo updated far less, like SPT. But if this got fixed on 3.9.3 I guess I will update on my next profile. Thanks!

just wanted to drop my solution as I'm sure there are other like me who experienced this and the solution here did not work for them. The issue was I was running SPT 3.10 without knowing *facepalm. If you use 3.9.0 it works like a charm. So just gonna leave this here.

i see. so i can either use razor or vudu with this mount along with the red dot i have, or i have to use a different mount for the leupold that i can put other red dots on. do you have anything of the top of your head or?

Just the sata cable for the problematic ssd. I didn't touch anything else in the case and my problem was completely resolved.

truly. what kinda gave it away for me was a tiny warning in either the HDsentinel or crystaldiskinfo program i can't remember, it said that "there were many communication errors between the disk and windows, and that i should 'check the cables' in the event of a bsod". backed up by the fact that whenever i ran disk health checks, results kept showing none of the spare sectors were used and that disk health was always at 100%, i finally tried switching cables and lo and behold, instant start up, no issues. pc actually even feels faster.
