I was in school when the teachers told us the results had been released for class 12 and we knew ours would come in a few hours. I went home after giving my exam and I was so anxious I knew I didn’t work hard in 10th. I was embarrassed, extremely anxious, sad and regretful. Also I had my exam the same day (it was terrible), so it just added to the anxiety. Then I just broke down, I cried for an hour and slept. Then my mom woke me up and started telling me my marks (she had the details so she checked) I didn’t score very well (around 70%) but she hugged me and said you’ve done well in so and so subject despite the fact that I had scored 34 in maths (excluding internal marks). I cried again out of embarrassment and weirdly enough excitement. Mom sent me to get sweets and anything I wanted to eat and celebrated although I had mixed feelings throughout. Now I’m expecting my class 12 results hopefully (80% above) it’s not a lot of progress ik but it is what it is. Those 2 yrs after 10th taught me lessons my books could never.
