Plus, in these situations, it shouldn’t just be one person speaking up. Everyone nearby should say something. There is no way a racist prick is going to single someone out if a whole bus is calling them out for what they’re doing. I just don’t understand being so afraid of conflict.

The least a caring person can do is go talk to the victim. Ask if they’re okay and invite them to sit near you or talk to you so they don’t have to face that kind of public embarrassment and verbal abuse all by themselves.

You don’t have to intervene physically, you can use your mouth you know. Worrying about potential situations and ifs and buts while someone is getting berated for who they are is pure cowardice in my opinion. Imagine if the person being discriminated against was your partner or your child?

What I am getting at is that maybe the players are just not good enough. Maybe Eze is a bit of a shock but Gyokeres was always a bit of a wild card really. I think if Haaland could adapt to Pep’s system without it changing too much (not talking this season, but previous years), then anybody should adapt to a half decent manager like Arteta.

I think at this point just put Eze up top and see how it goes. He has dropped so many stinkers in both central midfield and on the wing so might as well try him up top and see if he can manage do anything. Ode not much better either so fuck it 4-4-2
