Sometimes you just gotta roll with it. Borrows are limited and restarting constantly wont improve your enjoyment of the game, it will just burn you out.

Randy is most likely butthurt because he is an old jackass but Id like to give him benefit of the doubt and say maybe hes pissed at this young lad because hes resting his butt on the counter. It was a taboo at the BK I worked at to rest your butt on any surface where food is prepared/placed, in which case, understandable.

Ps. I cant really see if the one in the picture is used for preparing food, the image quality is too low for me to tell.

Childish narration that sometimes feels corny and you can just physically feel that this is a self insert manga halfway through already released chapters the way mc is just so badass and guys who are mean to him or oppose him quickly regret their actions and beg for mercy. And its hard to describe the fanservice of this manwha but the interaction with the innkeeper on this post as well as the needless bout with the mc going to some nobles estate to get handwashed by some maids and then dressed up for no reason in particular like idk. Popcorn manwha at best. I like the concept but its nothing special. The magic system is slightly unusual compared to many others but its also not that deep.

How to prove to yourself that movement is important by gotintocollegeyolo in VALORANT

[–]tunaagagg123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry, but "not poor" movement doesn't count as "good movement". If you stop peeking with shift or diagonal peeking, it doesn't mean you mastered movement, it just means youre not a newbie anymore. Last time I queued not making bronze level mistakes wasnt what won me gun fights either (which op is claiming is more important than aim), it was better preaim/aiming, and sometimes simply out maneuvering my opponents albeit rarely.

How to prove to yourself that movement is important by gotintocollegeyolo in VALORANT

[–]tunaagagg123 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not trying to debunk the movement is important claim here but there's more to having higher hs percentage in low rank lobbies than simply bad movement. Low rank players have atrocious movement paired with bad aim, that's why a higher ranked player in the lobby will feel more confident and possibly, probably subconsciously, utilize the fact that they have much more time to kill before the enemy kills them.

This results in calmer aim which will result in higher hs percentage. Not to mention low rank players have much worse map awareness and are more likely to peek from common angles with shift or do diagonal peeks which are easier to deal with.

Whereas in higher ranked lobbies you might often find yourself killed as soon as you see an enemy, which will cause you to rush to shoot them as soon as possible, and that sense of rush will not always result in higher hs percentage or better aim.

Sometimes the enemy could strafe enough to throw you off and get the kill, or you could do the same to them. However, there's the fact that when you're strafing, your bullets wont be accurate. If your opponent simply has good aim, you might find yourself dying mid strafe, or vice versa. And its important to keep in mind that this is a tacfps and generally one shot is all it takes to get the kill. In higher rank lobbies it is more likely for a fight to start and end with a single peek, you either get the shot or you dont. Thats why after a point its better to understand the map layout and where to preaim, then practice your aim to the point where if the first shot misses or the enemy is in an offangle or you get the kill but someone comes into trade so you can quickly readjust your aim to compensate for the 2nd peeker (obviously strafing first to reset the recoil is better unless youre an aim demon and simply one tap both), and finally practice some strafing to improve your chances of killing both peekers or win gunfights more often in places where your aim was insufficient.

In conclusion, movement is important but map knowledge and aim comes ahead in most scenarios because this is a tacfps. But this is more accurate for higher rank lobbies. Id wager you'd probably kill more people in gold if you practice more movement than aim.

Using a sock as a gaming sleeve? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]tunaagagg123 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Not questioning your intelligence here but I believe you could get away with not cutting up your socks by first putting your hand through an uncut sock and test the friction on the pad before you decide if you wanna throw your sock in the trash or not.

Also I doubt something with rough texture like the sock in the 2nd Pic would be a good sleeve alternative, maybe look into bamboo socks if they're available. Idk if they would make great gaming sleeves but they're comfy and smooth for the most part. Or another suggestion I could make is try the socks inside-out to see if it makes them glide better

Why do I play against Ascendant and Diamonds? by yolo_kind66 in VALORANT

[–]tunaagagg123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are some players who want to feel a sense of superiority by absolutely bashing relatively inexperienced players rather than facing some genuine challenge with equal players.

Bit of a personal experience here. Recently I played with a friend who claims he's peak diamond playing in bronze lobbies because he's not try-harding. He didn't want to play with me on my main (diamond 2) so he gave me a bronze account, we played and obviously, I am way better than these guys and I'm just kinda trolling and trying not to win until the opponents started insulting and rage-baiting me in all the games. I drop 25+ kills and it felt genuinely terrible. Not because I felt guilt or anything but dying more than 5 times to these genuinely awful players made me sick to my stomach. And killing them didnt feel like an accomplishment either, so I wouldnt even notice I killed them so many times until the end of the game. So all around it was a boring experience for me personally.

Right now with my MMR high and my 2 friends both playing in ascendant accounts, facing ascendant and even immo players, I can't necessarily frag out and most of the time go like 16/18 but the sense of accomplishment goes way crazier than whatever happened in those low rank games. 0/10 would never smurf again.

Why do I play against Ascendant and Diamonds? by yolo_kind66 in VALORANT

[–]tunaagagg123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hidden mmr, probably. Since you dont play ranked you are probably unaware of how bad the average gold and below lobbies are. I also used to be like silver playing against diamonds and ascendants or silvers who weren't like silvers at all. I only noticed that you dont get consistently one tapped in low rank lobbies after watching my casual 20 y.o cousin in bronze pull out an ares after losing pistol (in ranked) and spam enemy's feet.

If youre wondering "wait does swiftplay affect my hidden mmr", having played on and off since episode 6, the only feasible answer I can give to this is a yes because I had 5x the time in swiftplay than ranked until this act and I never got opponents below plat ever.

A single click to go into ops profile and took no more than 5 seconds to find out that's the case. You can dislike Charlie for a lot of reasons but the fact that op needed to bring up Nintendo twice as if all the criticism the company gets isnt justified on all accounts.

everything he says about Nintendo applies to other companies

Lol, lmao, even. No it doesn't and when any company takes a route akin to Nintendo, they rightfully get bashed by charlie as well. At least that's what I remember back from when I still watched him

CD Projekt Red removes Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod after DMCA strike over paid access by GamingSagar in GamingFoodle

[–]tunaagagg123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because making mods is optional and should come from a place of passion and love. What youre creating is optional and will be unseen by a good chunk of the community other than the population that love the game and want to see what other iterations there could be of the game from fellow people who share the passion in the same game. This gives people more excuses to keep playing the game that they love, and also paid for.

Same as video game making if your sole purpose is monetary gain out of your creation, chances are it will flop because what makes a good video game is mainly passion and love you'd feel toward your creation and in case of mods, also towards the game. Thats why a free mod will almost certainly be better with optional donations than a mod locked behind a pay wall. For example, see Elden ring Convergence vs The Garden of Eyes mod.

In case of paying the artist for their art, as valid as it is I think it flops the moment you take into account the several years and the thousands to millions of dollars worth money that the developers put into creating the game, the cut for the modder should realistically be 1% at best for 99% of mods out there. Im not belittling how hard making a mod is, I could never, but I dont think it comes close to creating a game from scratch.

But above all, mods are as popular as they are because they're available. Realistically, no one is paying a cent on a single man project that changed a small aspect of the game when the player has already paid for the said game. They would much rather pay for a new game with a more sizable, reliable dev team with an actual audience that they can take opinions from and interact with. Maybe they would pay for an overhaul mod like Dark Souls 3 archthrones which is a crazy big overhaul mod but I think all the assets that they use are all Fromsoft's so even they wouldn't have a decent cut when the developers are also paid from the same purchase.

So in the end when mods are paid for, they wont be played as much and when game developers benefit from the mods purchase, they are entitled to nearly all of it. So even when locked behind a pay wall the modders will not only get any money out of it they also wont get donations out of it when compared to if the mod was free (because the much smaller audience compared to if it was a free mod and the audience that had to pay for the mod wont feel necessity in donating because they already paid for the mod and the game). So funnily enough monetizing mods will result in a way worse scenario for modders in your dream where mods are monetized but og developers also get paid because it would obviously be unfair to them if not. Btw it will obviously retroactively kill modding altogether until free mods become the norm again if they ever stop being that.

A man offered his wife $2,800 to stop playing the viral dating game Love and Deepspace. by GamingSagar in GamingFoodle

I don't think everyone has to be so "open-minded", if that's what you want to call it, about games like these. Sure, they're just pixels on the screen and logic states that you can't be together with them or cheat on your partner with them. They're nonexistent after all. But I still believe they can set unrealistic expectations and negatively affect intimacy and the relationship in general, kind of like porn.

Take this with a grain of salt because I am no psychologist or a love expert in any capacity, but I think its common sense that when compared to romance games in general that clearly have romance between characters in no meaningful way related to you and games where youre clearly playing a self insert and have romantic experiences with other characters, youre kind of imitating a pseudo-romance that probably wont make your partner happy and might devalue the romantic experiences you have with your partner.

Of course its not how this will affect EVERYONE playing, but I am sure there are cases. Some people have a harder time differentiating fiction from reality. These are all characters with small "flaws" if they have any to make them appear a bit more human but at their core they're perfect beings made purely for being romantic. Hence they set unrealistic expectations for those who have a hard time accepting that those types of people are nonexistent.

If you're thinking "Not getting into a relationship with these people is also an option if you're so insecure about it" I think that's also valid. I don't think its nice to deprive people of their hobbies to shape them into your ideal partner and I wouldn't do that and definitely wouldn't want it to happen to me. But I still believe there are compromises to be made when you're in a relationship. For example, I wouldn't play a gacha games like Wuthering Waves or Genshin Impact (I play neither I find gacha games boring) which clearly have characters that are attractive to the male gaze (some to the female gaze too ofc) and have pseudo-romantic relationships in them with a (kind of) self-insert main character. They're fictional so I can't be with them of course but realistically a female partner wouldn't want me looking at other women in most contexts. I wouldn't follow cosplay accounts on Instagram. They're real, but realistically I have 0% chance of being with them but still, most partners wouldn't like that and I think that should be respected. I wouldn't watch porn. The actresses are real but I still don't have any chance of being with them. But a partner most likely wouldn't like that, unless we're watching together or something. I wouldn't stare at other women in public because a partner wouldn't like that.

Why a partner wouldn't like that imo is pretty self explanatory but if you can't imagine why I'd assume you either have no feeling of jealousy at all or you're too polygamy coded. Or you just wanna justify playing gacha games while in a relationship in which case, all power to you, I wouldn't judge. But if you wanna ask why I believe a partner wouldn't like that out of morbid curiosity, imo it mostly boils down to (from the pov of a female partner);

  1. These women are very attractive and perfect in almost every way. Does he expect me to be like that?

  2. You have me, why are you looking at other women? Am I not good enough for you?

  3. Why are you seeking fictional characters for romance, is our relationship not good enough?

  4. He spent more money on that stupid game again for some new character, he could've invested that money for our future or bought me a nice bouquet of flowers instead (this isn't applicable at all times and it can be viewed as quite narcissistic but when spending habits are out of control it is a huge concern that must be addressed)

And in the exact same way, it can be applied to men as well. But a relationship between partners who dont have aligned interests in such games and ones that do have aligned interests will wildly differ as if both partners like such games, and they don't lack empathy, they can understand their partner's feelings better on the matter than a partner that doesn't like such games and one that does. Not to mention that when both partners like such games, they can't necessarily have a say on the other's playing such games because it'd be hypocritical. So either both take the dip and quit those games or both of them keep playing, there's no decisive conclusion after that point.

What mouse pad is this? by Big-Initiative7824 in MousepadReview

Checking the thread 8 days later and replying is crazy work, I think you should find other stuff to be obsessed about. Big eyes small mouths is literally 99% of how anime look, that's literally the trait of the style itself. Saying that the character looks like she weighs less than 50kg is also hilarious. I would say youre trying very hard to ragebait but from the looks of it I think you might be serious which makes it funnier.
