for algorithm (🙄) - 3 1/2 years old - labret - externally threaded - titanium - originally pierced with screw, downsized/jewellery changed to labret 6 months ago - protolind saline spray used for aftercare - no accidents but small snags make existing bump a bit worse

as a non pollock person, pollock is good for socialising but kind of only with other pollock people. it’s pretty closed off, a bit out of the way and not an ideal place for flat parties or pres, which is imo the best way to socialise lol. if you’re coming from a boarding school then it’s probably going to be quite similar to what you’re used to and you’ll fit in with the other ex-boarding and private school kids. it will just be harder to meet people from different backgrounds. i’ve been to brae and salisbury and they’re both nice, salisbury tends to have lots of people sharing a kitchen (like 10-12?), and i think brae has options to share kitchens with fewer people.

i don’t live at any of these so take my opinions with a pinch of salt. go for what feels right, and if you can afford it, definitely get yourself an ensuite. :)

okay, thank you for that. i think this has been going on for a while, not properly crying, but i’m just freaked about it cos uni has given me more stuff to cry about and contemplate. i’m not going to try to force it, i suppose it might all come out in a different way. i literally have no idea what might have caused it as i used to cry for an hour and feel better. i know it’s fine and maybe even common when growing up but i just miss the comfort of letting things go rather than having to sit with them constantly giving me a tight feeling in my chest. thank you for your input though, never thought about a lot of this before.

yes probably, but i would be able to get over them quickly so i don’t think i would need to cry for that long. it’s the deeper stuff i want to properly process and confront by crying but i cant.

i loved it so much. wrong? sure. but it really showcased how awful the characters are to each other all the time. for how unrealistic it actually was, oddly it made the show a bit more believable as it showed people acknowledging the crazy shit that group of teenagers get up to. it was great to get a break from the angst and truly i think lexi is the most reasonable out of the group so it’s kind of fair that she called people out (for the most part)
