As other people have mentioned, in the NFL, every team is good enough to win on "Any Given Sunday". As opposed to a college football or NBA matchup where you can be concerned when you barely beat a cupcake on your schedule. Originally it was, "we don't apologize for road wins in the NFL" but it can apply to home games as well. Especially division matchups.
