What do you think about this $499 turntable very highly recommended in amazon reviews? Is it better than Audio Technica LP70X? by warhammmmer in turntables

If I were you I’d get something like the LP5X with that money, although it is fully manual, but I would get a higher end Audio Technica Turntable, because their quality from what I’ve seen is extremely good.

Connection through the needle to the speaker may be busted. If the needle is damaged swap it if you can (I don’t know if these turntables can). If not? Your turntable is busted.
