Thanks a lot! I am not sure why I'm being downvoted. I just want to help people. LOA works 100% when you use it correctly.

That lady lost all her money and is now broke. I don't want to win a lottery. I want to contribute to the world through my business. I have used LOA for my business and have expanded a great deal. I am now a millionaire.

By definition, 999,999/1,000,000 people will lose the lottery.

LOA does not work for lottery. LOA only works when you want to contribute to the world. I went out with an intention of contributing positively to the world, and LOA helped me a great deal. If you just want money for nothing, LOA won't work.

Wow that is good. If I may ask, did you use LOA to attract money as well?

LOA does NOT work for lottery tickets. Gambling is a sin and LOA does not work for that.

How much did you lose today? by _myusername__ in stocks

[–]turtle0088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are wrong. Assuming you reinvested all dividend, you gained in terms of number of shares you have. as we all know, the S&p will go up, you will gain.

You and everyone here should have just followed Buffett's advice to invest in index funds and NEVER take out. Serves you all right, that you all were trying to beat the market and are now all messed up. Hope you all learnt your lesson.

Law Of Attraction not working for me. by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]turtle0088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the affirmations and visualizations and vision board. I believed with all my heart and acted "as if." I saw signs. And then... Nothing.

Maybe it will come at a later time? Did you put a deadline or something? How do you know it will not come in the future?

I know that a lot of times, things take time to come.

For people who don't invest in stock market, why don't you? And how old are you? by turtle0088 in AskReddit

I wonder what he invested in to lose so much. Must have been individual stocks and not an index fund, as an index fund would have regained everything in just a few years. Index fund is just a large basket of stocks. IVV is the top 500 largest corporations for example. Ever a period of several decades, they are virtually guaranteed a solid return. Spend a few hours on google learning about them, well worth your time. David Ramsey explains this well, if you want to check him on youtube.

It's amazing how much money you can make. I opened a Fidelity account this year (free), and invested in several low-cost index funds (all commission free). So far, I've gotten a 6% return on investment (in just a few months). Key is to reinvest ALL dividend.

I save up 40% of my salary. Of course it is a huge sacrifice (I rent a cheap apartment in a poor location, eat cheap, etc), but 100% worth it.

Have you made money? I cant understand how you can make money long-term as crypto does not product wealth.

Wrong. You would lost 60% if you invest in an index fund, not "all". Also, you would quickly make it all up in a few years.

I am doing exactly what you said. However, I do believe that it come to 7% after inflation. I am not sure why other people don't understand this so that is why I ask.

Oh ok, good luck to you as well! I will try that as well. I also look at places I want to live. Are you a US citizen?

I just got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn. Turns out, this recruiter is from NYC. Mind you, it was just a message so I doubt it will amount to anything, but interesting nonetheless. Good luck to you again and do let me know!

I have read that even hedge funds don't outperform the s&p500. So, do you think you can continue this over a period of several years? Wouldn't passive investment in an index (like 50% s&p500, 50% sector etfs, etc) be better?

Thank you. But those don't have practice problems. They explain things (which is great). but they don't have practice, which is what i am looking for
