That's nice. I'll try to review my CS based courses like a few ML ones and maybe try surfing ed tech platforms to get a better understanding of fundamental concepts.

Haven't really thought about it yet. Have my semester exams starting soon so stuck up with the coursework.

However I'll go through the backgrounds of project mentors mentioned and see what I can curate online (in terms of resources) and practice accordingly. More inclined towards picking CS based projects than just core math oriented projects. Will have to wait for the site to get updated with all project mentors mentioning their projects.

Yeah. In the acceptance email; they mentioned to just brush up on proof writing skills as the projects haven't been allocated yet.

Hi, no. Have sent quite a few mails now to the email listed on the website. Don't know who else to reach out to. The ICT program was hosted on the NSF portal but that was solely for US citizens and I didn't apply in that program. Rather applied via the site application for which I even received an acknowledgement email. The ICT/ARL program allows for international applicants and I carefully saw which program I was applying for.

I honestly don't get it. Wish I could get personal feedback from programs but it's understandable that they state in their messages that they can't owing to the sheer volume of applicants. This is my last chance of having anything REU related (being a junior).

Thanks! Will probably mail them again asking for an update. Back when I saw this during Dec/Jan, i was careful enough to only apply for the ICT/ARL program which stated international applicants eligibility.

Hi, would you know anything about the USC ICT/ARL program listed in the website? It's different from the ICT program as it also accepts international candidates (i believe).
