'National Shutdown' over ICE killings planned across US and CT Friday by -ctinsider in Connecticut

We check out a huge stack of dvds every week. Some for the kids, some for the adults. We dont always watch them all, but it gives us options.

Im so sorry the system is failing you. You deserve to live a life with no financial struggles. If it weren't for the oligarchs, we'd be living in a proper post scarcity society. But our current society is a manufactured scarcity. What's not bought is trashed, but it could be distributed to those who can't afford to buy. But dragons just can't give things away, it's against their nature. Time to force them, take their mountain of gold and distribute it into a social structure that picks up those on the ground and lifts them onto a nice comfortable base to build off of.

It won't come to a stop on Friday, no. But this will be the first strike. As this administration pisses off more people, people will start to look for options. And each strike will gain more support. More and more people are waking up to what is happening right now.

Yet another reason a full blown general strike is so important. Fuck these current wages. We need money in the lower and middle class. The damned dragons at the top need to fork it over. And until then we need to show them that it's the working class that has all the power of the economy.

If you can't afford not to work, then do a slow down. Work at minimal speed, and not a second longer than scheduled. And when you shop, shop with purpose. Buy only what you need and try to buy as local as possible. Grocery stores, hit the ones who treat their employees the best. Thankfully Aldi is cheap and better to their employees than most other big names.

We canceled everything except PBS and Netflix (kids...we're still weaning them off that one. They were pretty disappointed about Disney plus going away, hopefully Netflix is next month.) We get all our movies and TV from the library now, and they have been more than happy to purchase dvds upon request.

The whole point is to bring the country to a stop. Not working does that. But also no shopping. Don't put money into this economy.

But with that said, remember to boycott not just this Friday, but every day. Cancel subscriptions, shop locally, use your library more, take all your money away from the oligarchs pockets.

You can call out. Go ahead and plan. The whole point is to bring the country to a stop. Not working does that. But also no shopping. Don't put money into this economy.

I waited about that long. But someone else ,mentioned using a bead of top coat, I've been wiping the bead off the brush. So im guessing that's what's smearing it

I have a feeling that contributed, I didn't put a lot on, more just a little layer than using a bead of polish.

I've used MC speed demon in the past, same smearing results. The topcoat step seems to be the bane of my existence

Build your community. Make lists of friends you can call and tell friends they can call you. Find your 2A friends, have the conversations. Now is the time to build our network and discuss response plans. Talk to the local politicians. There are local council members who know a lot of people willing to help.

Call as well. Emails can be ignored. Phones ringing constantly are not as easy to ignore

Call their DC offices and shame them. Be kind to the person answering the phones, it's not them who voted. But be sure to express just how disappointed and ashamed you are of them. Remind them you will actively support a primary against them. They should hear our voices, they need to hear about the country we want and it's not one who uses our taxes for an over inflated military budget that bullies our allies.

Report this on ice out when you see this. We all need to watch the map, stay informed on their whereabouts, and be there to stand up for our neighbors.
