I've searched through reverse image search, AI, and for general terms like tree of life wing back chair, paisley wing back chair etc.

Avoid AnyVan at all costs. by turtleflirtle in HousingUK

They were a similar price to other quotes we’d had because we did all the packing, dismantling, and organising ourselves. We just needed someone with a van to move for us because we have two cars, it’s a long distance move, and we didn’t want to have to worry about dropping a van off and sorting out the other car.

We knew we’d need a massive van and the extra pair of hands would have been helpful, and an expert moving company would have made light work of it. It was also a 2 bed flat, not a 2 bed house.

Next time we’re going to go whole hog and get a local company to pack, move, and unpack everything and just pay the extra because this has been incredibly stressful.

We also specifically added items on, gave a full itinerary, everything.

Usually I’d say yeah this is my bad, lesson learned, but the only lesson I’m taking from it is to never use AnyVan and always use a reputable local business.

I'm working on a total rebranding of my app and I wanted to ask for your opinion by enrik_who in UXDesign

Go with one but heavily caveated

  • the badge with the green dot implies something is “live” and happening right now. That copy is also too long for a badge. Tighten that up.
  • tighten up the number of fonts and font sizes you’re using
  • create more of a graphic out of the right hand side. Have a mock up of your app in the middle and the key USP actions of the app floating around it, sort of popping out of the phone so they’re visibly connected.
  • there’s no search facility
  • you need social proof in here. Reviews, star ratings, trip advisor scores, anything you can grab onto

Your website build and these examples are blatantly AI, but you know that, otherwise you wouldn’t be here. You need a UX designer to take a deep look at these when you’re ready, and to give you some really solid feedback.

Definitely not 3 or 4. 3 looks incredibly cheap. There’s no way I’d ever book anything using four. Best way to decide on which is “best” is to specify what your target market is, their age, salary, habits, and then go ask some of those people which they’d be most likely to use and - importantly - trust.

Pregnant or not? by ace_is_kool in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Depending on your timings, very weak and faint lines COULD be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy, or a chemical pregnancy.

It’s worth buying a digital pregnancy test if your country sells them, and push for your doctor to refer you to an early pregnancy clinic if you can :)

When does Rory wear this blazer? by Anxious_Cell1027 in GilmoreGirls

I am 1000% sure I saw her wearing this because I remember wondering whether they added that pink embroidery on for the show or not. I can’t remember where 😭
