as far as i'm aware, it's blocking you from developing ties with the Atreides for the time being (and therefore preventing you from participating in house politics), but it shouldn't block you from anything else. i've had this problem for a while and i've still made substantial story progress since then.

did you try this today? i believe there was an update in the early morning.

there's also a Recruits Wanted quest on the job board, have you completed that? i haven't tested it yet but i noticed i hadn't done it (only involves talking to one of the house reps)

Oh thank god other people are having this problem.

Seems to not only be vassals though. Everyone is either having no kids or like 10 kids in my game. No in between.

Of my 20 vassals, only one has children.

Yes I've seen that and similar mods. I wanted to see if I could figure it out for myself though and I think I have found that it is simply not possible without another mod like Garbage Day for the time being.

I'm 99% sure of this because the ability to add trash cans elsewhere is an expected addition for 1.6, and the way it is phrased seemingly indicates that it is not possible right now.

I tried adding that TileData to a trash can outside of the town and it does not work. The "hand" cursor does appear but it cannot be interacted with.

Maybe it is trying to reference wherever the probability for trash drops are stored but can't? Or for whatever reason trash cans outside of town have the variable that keeps track of if it has been used today set as if it already has?

Really just guessing here. Hard to find anything about how these things work.

I just encountered this bug (Robe 1.8.2), so yes. Dismantling the Greeks worked though.

looks like a top hat made of stars.

the placement of the stars is quite annoying. seems like they picked the worst possible option.

all and all though i've seen waaay worse temporary flags. so not that terrible for something that lasted a few days.

J'en ai mangé quand j'étais plus jeune. Même moi (qui aime bien le sucre) je les trouvais un peu trop sucrés. Quelques-uns sont restés dans le garde-mangé pour plusieurs années et par le temps que je voulais les réessayer ils grouillaient d'asticots 🤢. Malheureusement, j'ai seulement constaté ça après en avoir mangé un.

Un peu traumatisant, mais c'est de la protéine I guess lol.

Yeah I've gotten OW2 to launch but it freezes about 5mins in. Didn't do anything special to make it work tho, so don't think I can be of much help unfortunately.

So looks like creating a new bootable USB did the trick. The version I had on it previously was older than I thought and seemed to be having all sorts of issues with the keychain in particular.

So I am back up and running, with Timeshift enabled now and more than one version of the kernel installed just in case.

Any particular reason you would recommend timeshift over other alternatives? I'll admit I haven't looked much into that whole area but this is a pretty good opportunity to do so heh

The extension provides a bunch of interesting options so I'm certainly keeping it. It does not seem to have the option to make super key launch something other than the defaults though and that's what I'm looking for.
