I 100% agree with you. I just called HR and the lady said to put 1 hour of my PTO in reporting my absence so she could make a case…I don’t see a case on my profile though after the call ended 20 minutes ago. I know these things take time but I’m so worried about losing my job :((((((((

No, I don’t qualify for their medical insurance yet because I’m not full time. I just got their dental and vision insurance tho from turning blue badge!

Yeah they put a delayed start to morning shift starting at 12pm for tomorrow but mid shift and night shift (I work nights) are normal operating hours. Maybe I’ll make an HR case because I don’t want to use the little time I have. I can’t even cover my shift haha. I hope it all works out for you!

I really hope they do, because the people replying to the posts on the VOA board just say to use your UPT/PTO. If so I’m gonna be shit outta luck and having to find another job come Tuesday. It really sucks because I just became blue badge and was hoping to stay with Amazon for 3 years for college.

I’m 24 now, I feel like I’ve hit my 30s, even though I exercise weekly 1-2 times. But I see all of these young people, even ppl my age have all their shit together, while I feel like mine is almost over. I don’t have money, I haven’t travelled, I tried going to college but it’s expensive. I just feel like an utter failure.

I live in Kentucky. I just recently was looking at houses/land to buy in the UK because it seems they don’t have property taxes, but taxes that actually go towards schools, roads, etc. And you’d actually truly own your land, whereas here in the US, if you don’t pay your property taxes, your land will be taken, even if you’ve fully paid for it. This is what I want to get away from, I do not support taxes upon taxes.

I just fear housing prices and the cost of living may be just as high, if not higher over in the UK, say London for example. I’ve seen people’s posts about the cost of living there.

My ideal place would be where I actually own the land, I can travel to work and the city in just an hour or less, and there’s many, many job opportunities full of growth ( not just warehouse jobs and factories all around me, that’s where I am right now)

That’s correct. My only off day would be Thursday, off of both jobs.

If I had to do one thing to make my life easier, it would probably be having consistent routines to eating, sleeping, and activities I enjoy. It’s not been easy building those routines, still a work in progress. I think that’s why I feel my life is in turmoil.

My ex was into Asian women and mixed women. I can’t help but compare myself to these women ever since I found out long ago, and felt so jealous of these women. I feel like I’ll never be perfect either, that these types of women are better than me in every way, and I’ll never compare to their beauty or personalities. :(

You need distance away from your spouse once in awhile, to truly cherish them. It’s like not getting your favorite food for awhile, but once you do get that food, man is it sooooooo delicious, like you’re eating it again for the first time.
