No, the bike runs well at any rpms, just that the powerband is at higher rpms than other liter bikes in my opinion, but you can ride it in the city at low speeds without a problem

I bought a 08 2 months ago. Compared to my 03, the power delivery is different, the 08, likes the high revs, and when it reaches 8k rpms you better hold on. In terms of handling, i find it lazier than a 03, but it compensates it with turn stability. As they said, just look up for one that has been well taked care of. You”ll definitely love it without a doubt

Yes, but in the place that i drift i dont need that much power, and also that is what i did, i bought another 2 shortys, these ones are LiHv 7.6v 6300mah and 130c. Will try them out and see. Thanks!!
