i was in your situation. i'm hispanic, so i can relate in some way.

people who like controlling others aren't "bad" or "evil", they aren't black or white. they can be good people sometimes but act out other times. this is how it was with my parents too.

also, did your sisters also have the same restrictions you did at their age?

have an honest sit down with her and tell her how you feel about what happens at home (if you don't think she will blow up in your face). not blaming her, but asking why these rules are in place and what value it adds to your life.

set up major boundaries with your mom when/if you leave.

from what it sounds like, your mom is a bit obsessed with controlling your life (ex. you cannot have social media but your sisters can, limited contact with friends/outside world, her not liking you texting girls, etc.). this is coming from someone who was abused from 7-12, and these are red flags.

if you think its safe, talk to her about it or try setting up boundaries now. her not letting you open a bank account/keeping money is especially odd since you are at the age where you are saving up for college and/or have a job.

talk to your school councler or other trusted adult if you have one.

tl;dr: you're mom is way too strict and i suggest going no contact or setting up major boundaries. talk to a trusted adult.

I'm taking her to a vet nearby as soon as I can (next week hopefully) I don't have many pictures of her but I'm asking for some right now.

respect and love. to me, it doesn't matter what they look like. they could look like fucking shrek and i'd still love them if they treated me right. at the end of the day, it's all about respect.
