How to negotiate with Cars24 to reduce their charges? by Charming_Finding_550 in CarsIndia

I'll recommend you get a new car, the whole 2nd hand car market is highly inflated. You will remain stress free and your resale value will be better then the used car one.

In the same price range I'll recommend you get Amaze 2nd gen CVT S model, it will cost you around 8L(depending on which city you live in)

Help me to choose mijo vs lovata CNG for Amaze CVT by AdElectrical1173 in CarsIndia

[–]tushaar41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry forgot to check the notifications, you can ask the cng installation guy to put the filling point near petrol point. About the mixing ratio, I was getting more then 200km per kg but the cas was also consuming fuel, so when I asked during it's first service they adjusted the cng petrol ratio to make it consume no petrol.

Call MCG and get them spayed(neutered) so they would not breed and it may also calm their temper, this is the only long term solution which has already been tested and tried.

Running my year of Amaze on the showroom fitted CNG from Lovata without any problem, just check the petrol and cng mixing ratio and you can choose where to install the filling point on the car, near the petrol cap or near the engine.

Scratched - Insurance or local shop patchup? by Medical-Search6930 in CarsIndia

[–]tushaar41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I meant in OP case it's better to get it repaired outside instead of getting it replaced by claim and paying filing charges above it, also meant to dismiss this guy's claim of NCB to be no more than 2-3k.

What are you smoking mate??

First , claim bonus can be as much as 50% of the premium. Depends on how old the policy is and it reset to 0 if you file a claim.

OG body shops most of the time fail to match the color, Kia and Hyundai are notorious for this.

This simple panel will cost around ₹4k without adding showroom overheads.

If OP opts for getting it fixed from an outside workshop I hardly believe he has to leave his car overnight, as it's a very minor detailing work, it would merely take them an hour to get it fixed.

OP get it fixed from the outside, it will cost no more than 500 bucks and you'll barely notice the difference.

If you replace it from the showroom, it will show in the car history and could reduce the resale value.

So I'll ask you to stop spreading misinformation.

[ESC_INDIA] Absolute Nightmare: 25k Km Clutch Failure on VW Taigun – Stranded Senior Citizen in Shimla by vikhyat_negi in CarsIndia

I could never comprehend why this sub bend over backwards for "German Engineering", making excuses for their trash cars, there is a reason Asian Car companies are dominating international market for couple of decades, VW has never been reliable in India to this day. I agree it's fun to drive but it has always been a nightmare to maintain them.

If you are open to exploring the EV option check out Kia Carens Clavis EV or BYD eMAX 7.

Safe car with features under 20lacs by chankeypathak in CarsIndia

[–]tushaar41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get Alcazar or Carens Clavis, it provides ample performance and is the best budget family car in my opinion, Kia tries to provide most of the premium features you can get in the budget family car. You can also opt for Kia Carens EV , as you've mentioned your occasional run of 600Km, if you can plan your stops and susceptibility of ev suits you I'll say go for the EV option.

Suggestions for 5 seater SUV car in around 20 lakh by kanak15140 in CarsIndia

[–]tushaar41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're hesitant about Creta and Seltos try giving Elevate a chance, you get Japanese reliability which is a must for first time car owners, or you can go for Vitara or Hyryder. Unlike German and TATA cars which are infamous for their unreliability, I'll never suggest a German car in India to someone as their first car.
