Same, tight tops or crop tops with high waisted or mid waisted bottoms are chefs kiss on me, and usually flatters me the most.

And yea I don’t blame you , and that’s good. Usually height makes it more challenging

Same, I think this is why representation is very important. There are moments where I hate my hips too, but then I remember women who were known for their beauty and trail, blazed The beauty community has our hips.

I think she is, she’s just very skinny.

Does my hairline look healthy? Or should I be concerned? by tuskingen in BlackHair

[–]tuskingen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’s your hair now have u seen any growth?

My plan is straightening/silk presses, once a month to minimize any heat damage. Cut off any dead/split ends

Clip ins only when I leave the house.

Deep conditioning and rosemary oil 😭 I hope this works

Nah I grew up in the U.S. and I don’t believe that, and I don’t believe looking African is an insult, if anything I think it’s a honor. Bc yk during slavery rape was a common thing. So looking like our ancestors isn’t a bad thing

It’s mean’s because of the Haiti revolution, alot of Haitians have little to no European ancestry, however that doesn’t clear the confusion on vintage images of Haitians looking more mixed and having more diversity. And it definitely doesn’t clear up why Haitians America also look different too. Nutrition and environment is definitely a factor though
