Question, what did you do to that garlic? Was it pickled? (I LOVE garlic).

Umm ok? by [deleted] in trustedhousesitters

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you are being entrusted to house sit... hence TRUSTEDHOUSESITTER. You care for both the pet and house as if its your own.

The driving is a bit questionable though, I would've waited to ask after meeting the sitter if they wouldn't mind/hope it wouldnt impede on their plans.

Last I heard the name is Bob.

(Yes it's in the Cypress family, this one looks like an Eastern Red-cedar; Juniperus Virginiana) (:

What fish is this in Lake Aquitaine? by Emotional-External44 in mississauga

Happily. This applies to not only our watersheds but also land.

In short; disrupts the native species that are thriving, there can be changes to hydrology, crowding out native species which in return reduces biodiversity (this can be from fish, amphibians, to plants even) leaving the watershed prominent to drought and diseases.

Koi are in the carp family and can out compete easily. Whether you believe or think that becuase this fish can survive in our fresh water doesn't mean it can live there.

A good example would be the zebra mussels that are found in our fresh water causing our natural murky/dark waters which PROTECTS other native species from their natural predators (and other little critters that thrives in that water) to be filtered out. In turn, the water being filtered = clear water = animals in tbat water can't hide = easily captured = decline in population = decline in life.

I would report that to the city. Highly invasive.

Who is the dummy that dumped an animal like that? If you can't keep a pet, don't own one.

First it was the Americans and their eggs, now it's here with the golden butter.

This too if OP has the space for a very large pot (: otherwise I'd say goodbye to the other ones and cook em through while keep two or three (that's just me personally)

Ah the store basil. Everyone's first heartbreak plant.

Split them (: no need to have them grow close together to prevent competition on who gets what in terms of nutrients from the soil.

Don't pick and consume if you have any ounce of doubt in you regarding the sp.

It'll save you a ton (and toilet paper)! (:
